2024 State of Cyber Report

Cyber threats are seen as the third most impactful risk to businesses over the next three years, after the cost of capital and economic downturns, respectively. Threat actors are not only deploying new tactics using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to conduct more targeted and sophisticated attacks, but are also advancing familiar threats like ransomware with increased severity. The evolving regulatory landscape and the increasing adoption of cloud software also pose new challenges for cyber leaders. Looking forward, cybersecurity leaders need to face the top four challenges and cultivate long-term resilience to effectively protect their teams, data, customers, and stakeholders.
