    The FOX Family Advisor Training Program will equip wealth advisors and family office professionals with the qualitative skills needed to meet the demands of increasingly complex client relationships. Through a unique inside-out-approach, you will work on self-discovery and develop self-mastery to improve how you effectively engage with others – both your clients and your team.

    What to Expect

    A paced learning approach with a cohort of peer advisors and family office professionals that begins with two virtual prep sessions, followed by a two day in-person intensive learning program, and concludes with a virtual application and accountability session.

    • Learn to adapt your communication style to build trust and long-term relationships with clients and your team.
    • Understand emotional intelligence to effectively navigate professional relationships and the emotions of others.
    • Develop an understanding of the stages of organizational change and the impact it has on people.
    • Understand how families evolve on their journey and how diversity and complexity impact each family.
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding on how to communicate with, develop and prepare the rising generation for ownership and leadership within the family enterprise.
    • Cultivate fundamental coaching skills to move into a “coaching role” with the client and to improve engagement in multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Understand the fundamentals of family systems. Gain ability to effectively identify and navigate complex family relationships.
    • Build ability to foster trust-building behaviors among family members that improves decision-making.
    • Curated resources and tools to manage your client relationships and advisory teams.

    Who Should Attend

    Registration is open to advisors and family office professionals with recurring interaction with families involving complex issues, such as family dynamics, rising gen prep, and succession planning. Advisors with an appetite to develop their own self-mastery as an aspiring or current team leader will also benefit from this program.

    Register by December 20, 2024 to receive $600 off of your registration fee

    Register by April 4, 2025 to receive $300 off of your registration fee

    Field of Study: Management Services, Personal Development, Specialized Knowledge - Up to 10.5 CPE credits can be earned by attending this event. CPE credits are accepted at the option of state certifying boards. Requirements, compliance procedures and acceptance may vary by state.

    Learning Objectives: Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to adapt communication styles, develop emotional intelligence, build team leadership skills, manage change, understand how to prepare rising gen for ownership and leadership, navigate complex family relationships, and build trust to improve decision-making.

    Family Office Exchange is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.     Allison Lawshe is the Learning Center Program Manager at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, she partners with FOX’s Chief Learning Officer, Mindy Kalinowski Earley, to deliver learning programs and content for families, family office staff and advisors. Allison brings ten years of family foundation experience to the role, most recently as Chief Program Officer at the IDP Foundation, Inc., where she led the international education portfolio and scaling of training and financing program to over 600 schools across Ghana.

    Allison has an MPP from the University of Chicago, a BA in Economics and Latin American, Caribbean & Iberian Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a Professional Certified Coach.

    Jeff Strese is the Family Learning & Leadership Consultant at Family Office Exchange (FOX). As a consultant, Jeff has focused on multi-generational family enterprises, corporations, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations. He has more than 25 years of experience working across industries in the areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and family dynamics. He holds certifications in family wealth and family business advising (CFWA, CFBA). 

    Jeff is passionate about helping family businesses and organizations create clarity out of the complex and inspiring leaders from all backgrounds to develop and master critical skills like coaching, communication and emotional intelligence. He has developed innovative programs to guide next-generation leaders to reach their full potential in a fast-paced, global economy. 

    Jeff has served as Chief Talent and Learning Officer (CTLO) at Tolleson Wealth Management, a multi-family office serving client families across the country. Prior to his role at Tolleson, Jeff served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

    Mindy Earley is an education and family office professional who believes that empowerment and knowledge are key to living a purpose-driven and self-actualized life. She is inspired by helping people learn, grow and discover the way that they will make personal and productive contributions, using their strengths and talents.

    Mindy has held various roles in small and large family offices and has been responsible for creating and stewarding professional learning networks in support of human and intellectual capital. She has designed learning experiences that increase the knowledge base and enhance the life path of individuals while providing personalized support and coaching to help them meet their goals. After spending over a decade working in higher education Mindy is skilled in program creation for the student and young adult population. Her work included developing pioneering programs for learners to engage and thrive in college and through life after college.

    Combining her Master’s degree in Education, with a focus on learning development and educational theory, and her undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a focus on programming and event planning, Mindy is uniquely trained to create exceptional experiences rooted in sound learning practices. As a Certified Meeting Professional with a certificate in Family Business Advising she enjoys helping families and rising generation members navigate the unique world of family enterprise and family relationships by understanding that responsibility and intention pave a path to personal achievement and satisfaction.

    For the last two decades, Stephanie has dedicated her career to cultivating Human Capital in Family and Business Enterprises. As a seasoned facilitator and executive coach, Stephanie guides individuals or groups through a journey of self discovery that culminates in deeper communication, stronger relationships and heightened trust. Stephanie adopts a strengths-based approach to Family Continuity, Business Succession and Leadership Development that serves to maximize talent while achieving individual, Family and/or Business goals.

    When she joined Minto in 2011, Stephanie created a Leadership Competency model and associated Executive recruitment and training strategy that was adopted across the organization and beyond. She delivered her “Executive Insights” program to 65 C suite and Senior Leaders, creating a common language of leadership and culture that was heralded as best in class.

    Stephanie’s passion rests with cultivating Human Capital in Families and Family Businesses with a view to maximizing potential by harnessing strengths. She is an executive coach, and
    certified in Lominger competency modelling, DiSC facilitation, 5 Dynamics assessments and completed the Gestalt program for advanced facilitation and mediation.

    SIDEBAR... Stephanie lives in Ottawa with her husband and best friend Mark. Together they raised five amazing humans and have been blessed with one grandchild (so far)!
