We are looking to develop a high-end resort near Yosemite National Park where our family currently maintains a significant presence. The hotel will be an iconic property near the main entrance to Yosemite and are currently going through design development. While we are not in need of capital, we are in an opportunity zone and the ability to invest alongside the right partner may be something we would consider. We are most interested in partnering with someone who is focused on triple bottom line (3BL) investments, as our project seeks to emphasize the environmental and social impact alongside the monetary consideration. The ability to leverage the tax benefits of Opportunity Zones allows us to do those things without really impacting the net return for investors.
