Private Family-to-Family Investment Opportunities:
In response to the uncertainty and volatility that have characterized the wealth owner’s investment experience in recent years, families are increasingly taking matters into their own hands. Families looking for ways to invest for themselves directly and with like-minded families are a prime example of this trend.

Afterward, participate in a group discussion facilitated by the film’s producer to further explore the potential global impact a shortage of clean water will have on the world’s populations.

Generational Shift  As wealth transfers from one generation to the next, it’s not unusual for families to change advisors and family office staff. Understanding generational differences is one way to prevent the shift and the risks associated with it.

Serving Generation Next
Greg McCann, Founder, McCann & Associates Consulting, Professor, Family Enterprise Center, Stetson University and Jill Shipley, Director of Next Generation Education, GenSpring Family Offices

As family office executives begin serving the next generation of family leaders, they’re likely to find that it’s no longer business as usual. Younger clients, especially those in their 20s and 30s, view the world from a different perspective. They have different risk tolerances than their parents. Their communications styles and preferences are influenced by new technologies. In this session, become familiar with demographic norms and learn how to meet the next generation where they are. The future of your family office depends on it.
