Bill Benjamin
Keynote Speaker and Partner, Institute for Health and Human Potential

Bill has a rare perspective – he has advanced degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and has 25 years of real-world business experience as a senior leader.  Bill is very authentic about the fact that he struggled early in his career as a leader when he was under pressure. He shares how he has been able to apply the very same techniques he teaches to become a better leader (and husband and father) himself.   In addition to using his background in sales to motivate and inspire audiences, Bill leverages his Mathematics and technical background to take a practical and scientific approach to help people understand how the brain responds under pressure and how that can help increase leadership and performance. Bill is a partner at the Institute for Health and Human Potential (IHHP), a successful international research and training company, named one of the "Fastest Growing Companies" in the "Fast 100" ranking in PROFIT Magazine.  Bill also contributed to the New York Times and Amazon bestselling book Performing Under Pressure, co-authored by IHHP's JP Pawliw-Fry and noted psychologist Hendrie Weisinger.     

The combination of Bill's practical nature and scientific approach to leadership makes him a hit with analytical audiences. His high energy level and enthusiasm have resulted in a successful track record with discerning audiences that include surgeons, U.S. Marines, and NASA engineers. 
 

Andrew L. Busser
President, Family Office, Pitcairn

As President of Family Office, Andy Busser leads Pitcairn's exceptional team of relationship managers, analysts, and client communications professionals, ensuring that the Pitcairn client experience sets the standard for families of wealth. People who know Andy describe him as curious and enthusiastic, with a passion for solving complex problems.

Andy brings a commitment to objective analysis and holistic solutions to the Leadership Team, and he is known for building successful relationships with clients and employees. Throughout his Pitcairn career, Andy has spearheaded the development of the Pitcairn Experience. He continues to position Pitcairn as a leading innovator among family offices.

Before joining Pitcairn in 2015, Andy was a partner at Symphony Capital, a healthcare-focused investment manager of private equity and hedge funds. Previously, he was a management consultant at The Wilkerson Group and its successor, Wilkerson Partners.

Andy holds an AB in History from Colgate University. He has served on multiple boards, including the Colgate University Alumni Corporation and Lincoln Center Education, and Andy is currently a trustee of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.

Creative by nature, Andy enjoys painting landscapes. He is an avid reader and can usually be seen traveling with a book on history or economics. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, suburban Philadelphia is now home to Andy, his wife, and two sons. Whenever possible, he can be found skiing in the Rockies or fishing the waters off Cape Cod.
 

Brian Carter
Partner, Plante Moran

Brian is a Partner at Plante Moran and leads the Family Office Services Group at the firm.  He assists affluent families, family offices, and high net worth individuals with comprehensive planning in all areas of tax, including individual, flow-through, and wealth transfer matters. He also provides tax consulting and compliance services to privately held real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds and their owners.

Brian has extensive knowledge and expertise in the tax arena, and helps to integrate tax strategies and ideas for clients to help achieve real financial results. With more than 25 years of experience serving in the family office space, he provides strategic advice to clients in matters regarding family office structure, charitable giving strategies, and other income tax and wealth planning opportunities.

He often speaks to clients and not-for-profit boards of directors to discuss family office operations and tax strategies around charitable giving. He frequently speaks to business owners who are close to selling their businesses about the formation and structure of family offices.

Brian has a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from University of Kansas and an M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University.
 

Mandy Chardoul
CPA, MST, CFP®, Principal, Top Hand Consulting

Mandy helps clients with their comprehensive planning needs.   She is sought out by affluent families, family offices, and other professional advisors nationwide for her in-depth knowledge and practice approach.  Fluent in taxation and financial planning, Mandy brings a wide lens to her consulting engagements.  

Mandy’s strength as an advisor comes from nearly two decades serving tax and wealth management clients at one of the nation’s largest CPA firms, where Mandy was one of the leaders of the Family Office Services Group.   

Mandy is an active member of the Family Office Exchange and has given presentations on tax law changes to several law firms and professional associations throughout the country. 
 

Katherine Dunlevie
President and CEO, The Family Office at Synovus

Katherine Dunlevie serves as the president and CEO of The Family Office at Synovus. 
In addition to leading the firm’s growing team, she oversees strategy, client service and  business development while nurturing the distinctive culture focused on people and 
excellence found within The Family Office.

Katherine’s high-level focus is to refine the firm’s strategy and to chart its path for new  growth. But she is also deeply passionate about helping families expand their vision and goals—to think even bigger about what is possible in legacy and wealth building across  generations. Investment management is central to this process, but Katherine also sees the cultivation of human capital as crucial to strengthening and sustaining a family’s legacy. To help families identify talents, skills, and abilities across generations—and to help families more effectively communicate—Katherine launched The Center for Family Leadership & Legacy, which provides the tools, information, and formal processes needed to drive desired multi-generational outcomes. 

Katherine’s work in the family office industry has been recognized by several organizations and publications. She was named Outstanding CEO by Family Wealth Report, was listed in Georgia Trend Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, received the Jim Blanchard Leadership Award at Synovus, and was shortlisted for Family Wealth Alliance’s Boutique Multi-Family Office Executive Award. Katherine currently serves on the Kenan Flagler Business School Next Generation Board of Advisors, University of North Carolina’s Exercise Science Board of Advisors, and on the Advisory Board of the UHNW Institute. Previously, she served on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Board of Visitors.

Katherine’s entire career in financial services has been with Synovus. Prior to joining the 
Synovus family in 2002, she served with Cru, formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ, at the University of Georgia. Katherine earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Highest Distinction. She went on to receive an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and won the Core Value Award for Integrity.

Katherine is a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor 
(CTFA), and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®). She also is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Although an Atlanta native, Katherine lives in Columbus, GA. She enjoys tennis, running, UNC sports, and spending time with family and friends.
 

John Dziminski
President and CEO, The Rosewood Corporation

John Dziminski is President and CEO of The Rosewood Corporation, the holding company owned by the Caroline Hunt Trust Estate, which owns and operates Rosewood Resources, Inc., Rosewood Property Company, and Rosewood Private Investments. He joined Rosewood in 1998.

John also serves as President of Rosewood Trust Company, LTA, and the family office Rosewood Management Corporation or "RMC." RMC's principal responsibilities include management of passive investments and liquidity of the Caroline Hunt Trust Estate as well as management of personal assets and other trusts owned by family members. 

John is also President of Rosewood Ranches and Wetlands Management LP. He currently sits on the board of RF Installations and Eagle Fire, LLC, both majority-owned private equity investments of The Rosewood Corporation. 

He serves and has served on the Boards of five (5) not-for-profit organizations and believes it is important that professional skills and talents are actively shared with charitable causes.
John graduated from the University of Notre Dame, earned his CPA Certificate in Texas, and began his career with KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick & Mitchell). He grew up in upstate New York and has lived in Texas for 44 years. John resides in Dallas with his wife, Katie. They have four children, Emma, Alex, Alec, and Anna.
 

Bruce Geier
CEO, RMS Investment Group, LLC

For nearly two decades, Bruce Geier has been a noteworthy leader in the family office space. As CEO of a private family office, Bruce engages with the family to grow and preserve their wealth, providing the guidance and support they need to manage their assets for future generations to come. 

As a trusted private wealth advisor to the family members of RMS Investment Group, Bruce supports every aspect of their well-being. He has extensive experience in complex transactions and navigating elaborate financial markets. Bruce has been instrumental in creating the infrastructure of the office, the investment strategies, and most importantly, the culture of the company. 

Before becoming CEO, Bruce served as CFO of RMS Investment Group, focusing on high-level tax and accounting. During this time, he markedly enhanced the RMS portfolio and streamlined processes. Prior to his role as CFO, Bruce served as Director of Finance for MMC Health System in Pennsylvania. His career began in public accounting for a regional CPA firm, and he is a licensed CPA, and CFP. Bruce earned his Bachelor of Administration in Accounting at Slippery Rock University.

Bruce resides in Aurora, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
 

Alexander Hill
Relationship Manager, Maestro

Alex, a CPA, is a Relationship Manager at Maestro Family Office. He services multiple high and ultra-high-net-worth families with generations of wealth. Alex joined Maestro after spending six years at one of the world's largest single family offices, primarily focused on financial reporting, complex accounting, corporate restructurings, and tax consolidations, both domestic and international. Alex began his career providing accounting, audit, and tax services to small and mid-sized clients in New York City – predominately in the real estate, restaurant, and construction industries. Leveraging technology, Alex excels at automating repetitive tasks, standardizing data/reporting, and creating efficiencies.  
 

Michelle Jezycki
Owner, Trifecta Consulting/Human Capital Advisor

Ms. Jezycki is the President of Trifecta Consulting, a US based Human Resources Management company. Trifecta specializes in leadership development, executive coaching, human resources development, strategy, team building, retreats and business management. Ms. Jezycki is the former Director of Human Resources for the United States Senate. She is a Visiting Associate Professor at the American University in Bulgaria teaching Leadership in their EMBA program. Ms. Jezycki also owns a real estate business in the US assisting clients with residential, commercial and investment needs. She is pleased to be advising the Tsotsorkov Family Office.
 

Meredith Johnson
Partner, BPM

Meredith has deep experience in not only accounting, but financial planning and analysis, project management and business development. She works with clients based on a holistic approach to taxation, in the areas of estate planning and business succession particularly. Meredith excels in coordinating the needs of diverse stakeholders, managing multi-stage projects and synthesizing complex data. Her specialties include Financial Planning, Tax Planning and Compliance, Project Management, Business Strategy, Financial Modeling and Analysis, Employee Training and Development and Public Policy Analysis and Advocacy.

Richard Joyner
President, Tolleson Wealth Management

Richard Joyner is President of Tolleson Wealth Management. He oversees key strategic, marketing, and policy determinations for the company and its lines of business. Richard also serves on the Board of Directors, CEO Council, Trust Committee, and Investment Committee. He is also President and CEO of Tolleson Wealth Management's Private Wealth Management Group, where he is active in setting the vision and strategy for Tolleson Private Wealth Management.

Richard works with multi-generational families to address the complex issues of successful wealth transfer. His expertise encompasses diverse areas such as complex income and estate tax planning, family dynamics and education, and investment management. He facilitates numerous family meetings for clients each year and regularly speaks to families that want to overcome the old adage of "shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves" in three generations.

Over the years, Richard has received a number of professional awards, including recognition by Worth Magazine as one of its Top Financial Advisers and by Barron's Magazine as one of the Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors in the U.S.

He served nine years on the Board of Directors of the Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI), including two years as its President (2002-2003). He has served on IWI's wealth management committee for more than 10 years and teaches in the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) program offered by IWI. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Cristo Rey School College Prep High School of Dallas and is on the Advisory Board of the Ultra High Net Worth Institute.

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant,* he is a Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Investment Management Analyst, Certified Private Wealth Advisor, and a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner.

Richard is married and has two adult children and two grandchildren. He lives in Preston Hollow with his wife, Cheryl. He enjoys golf, running, and reading early American history.


Kim Kamin
Partner & Chief Wealth Strategist, Gresham Partners LLC

Kim Kamin is a partner and the Chief Wealth Strategist at Gresham Partners LLC, an independent multi-family office managing approximately $8.0 billion for about 120 UHNW families nationally. Kim leads Gresham’s development and implementation of estate, wealth transfer, philanthropic, educational and fiduciary planning activities. Previously she was a partner in the Private Clients group at a large national law firm known for the quality of its T&E practice. Kim is also an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Law School and on faculty for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education. She is a Regent for the American College of Trusts & Estates Counsel, Past President of the Chicago Estate Planning Council (CEPC) and the Estate Planning Domain Chair for the UHNW Institute. Additionally, Kim serves on advisory boards for multiple local charities.

Kim serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Trusts & Estates Magazine, has published on a wide variety of topics, and is also a frequent lecturer in a variety of venues across the country. She is the co-executive editor and co-author for the Leimberg Library Tools & Techniques book, Estate Planning for Modern Families (4th edition forthcoming in 2024). Kim received her B.A. from Stanford University and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. She is an AEP® (Distinguished) Nominee and a 21/64 Certified Advisor. Later this year, she is being inducted into the NAEPC Estate Planning Hall of Fame.
 

Jason J. Kohout
Partner, Foley & Lardner LLP

Jason Kohout is a partner practicing with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is the chair of the firm’s Family Offices Team and assists families and business owners in areas of tax planning, business succession, and philanthropy. In addition, he works extensively with nonprofit organizations in the areas of governance, fundraising and tax exemption matters. Jason’s broad experience, in conjunction with his in-depth knowledge of tax, corporate and trust law, allows him to provide creative and practical solutions for his clients, especially for clients that own businesses or have philanthropic interests or nonprofit organizations focused on governance or fundraising.

Jason advises numerous individuals and families on tax and estate planning. As chair of the firm’s Family Offices Team, Jason has extensive experience with clients with both independent family offices and businesses that provide family office functions internally. He has both created family office entities and assisted families in building out functionality to address family and business needs. He focuses on income and estate tax planning (including implementing sales to defective grantor trusts and grantor retained annuity trusts).   

Jason specializes in philanthropic planning. He has advised both donors and charities on how to facilitate tax-advantaged contributions, including contributions of interests in operating entities and in highly appreciated assets. He has formed numerous charitable vehicles and also advises donors on direct charitable activities. Jason is a director of the Wisconsin Philanthropy Network, a group of family and company foundations, and he regularly contributes as an author and as a speaker.
 

Bradford L. Long
CFA, Partner, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Fiducient Advisors

Brad has 15 years of industry experience; 11 years with Fiducient Advisors. He directs the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group, He is a part of the Target Date Committee and Mission-Aligned Investing research efforts. Brad is the Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee, member of the firm’s Research Forum, Discretionary Committee, Capital Markets Team and Mission-Aligned Investing Committee. 

He graduated from the University of Colorado, BA in Finance and Minor in Economics.  

Brad is a Member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago, member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), and active with Greenhouse Scholars.
 

Sara Montgomery
Principal, Family Legacy Services, Plante Moran

Sara leads the firm’s family education and philanthropic advisory practices and have spent the past 17 years advising ultra-high-net worth families in the areas of philanthropy, family governance, and wealth transfer. Her experience in trust, private banking, wealth management, and philanthropy provides a strong foundation to serve family offices and ultra-high net worth families. Her thought leadership has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and Kiplinger.

Sara currently serves on the Colorado Golf Association Executive Board, National Jewish Health Development Board, the Advisory Board for Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE), and Good Shepherd Catholic School Foundation. She's a member of the Family Office Exchange, the Purposeful Planning Institute, Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, Women’s Estate Planning Council, and the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable. 

She received her B.A. in international studies and her international M.B.A. in finance from the University of Denver where she graduated summa cum laude. Sara played Division I golf during her tenure at DU, served as team captain, and was recognized as an Academic All American by the NCAA. 

Sara is a Colorado native and currently resides in east Denver.  Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, Dan, chasing around their two biggest accomplishments, their daughter, Meredith, and son, Luke. 
 

Adam Newell
CFA, CFP, Partner, Director of Consulting, The Wealth Office, Fiducient Advisors

Adam has 20+ years of industry experience; 19 years with Fiducient Advisors. He provides investment-consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family offices and other substantial investors. Adam co-leads the firm’s High Net Worth and Family Office Business Councils.

He graduated from Purdue University, BS.

Adam is a member of CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago, member of the Financial Planning Association; and College of Financial Planning, CFP®.
 

Holly Pantzer
National Industry Leader, FORVIS Private Client

Holly is the National Industry Partner for FORVIS Private Client. She provides tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to individuals, families, fiduciaries, and private foundations. As a FORVIS Private Client advisor, she also focuses on helping FORVIS clients build and preserve their family’s legacy through an integrated suite of services designed to address multigenerational objectives.

She has more than 30 years of experience providing forward-looking advice to help FORVIS clients grow and preserve assets. Her commitment to client service, including providing sound and practical advice, has earned the respect of her clients and peers. Through her experience, she can identify opportunities for the FORVIS Private Client team and bring them resources to meet clients’ needs.

Holly is a member of the firm’s Governing Board. She sat on the firm’s tax committee for six years. She also sat on FORVIS’ SKY Council and served as a regional SKY Champion for SKY—the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiative. SKY builds greater inclusion by leveraging differences and creating a level playing field for all personnel. In addition, she served on the firm’s performance management task force, providing guidance on developing a strong performance management program to support the firm’s mission and help its members
experience rewarding careers. She has served on and chaired the local FORVIS Foundation Committee.

She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Indiana CPA Society, and United Way Tocqueville Society and has served on the Women of Tocqueville Committee. Other contributions to the community include service as a member of the Women’s Fund OPTIONS Alumnae group and Women’s Philanthropy at Indiana University, and as a new board member for the local chapter of Random Acts of Flowers. She sat on the board of directors of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, where she served as treasurer for four years. Holly previously served on several planned giving committees including WFYI, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, and on the board of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Housing Corporation.

Holly is a graduate of Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
 

Robert Persons
Director of Advisory Services, The Family Office at Synovus

As the Director of Advisory Services for The Family Office at Synovus, Rob is responsible for leading the firm's multi-family advisory services. In this role, Rob leads the Family Office Advisors located across the Synovus footprint. He is also responsible for leadership oversight, development, and training for the firm's client service associates. A senior executive in The Family Office at Synovus, Rob is committed to implementing best practices that drive business growth while ensuring client families receive exceptional services in support of their family goals. With more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, Rob serves on the firm's Executive Leadership Team, Investment Committee, Asset Allocation Committee, and Investment Review and Administrative Review Committees. 

Prior to joining Synovus in 2007, he was a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch. Rob received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), and has Series 7 and 66 Securities licenses through Synovus Securities, Inc.

Rob was recognized by the Family Wealth Alliance as a 2020 Young Professional Award Winner, honoring the top 25 under 40 shaping the family wealth industry. He serves as Secretary on the Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, Inc. Board and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the American Bankers Association.
 

Ashley Taff
Senior Vice President, Hub International

Ashley is a Senior Vice President at HUB International with 15 years of professional insurance experience. She’s responsible for advising clients on long term benefits strategy and acts as a conduit between clients and vendors. Her expertise and knowledge i s in comprehensive medical programs, self funding, stop loss, captives, minimum premium plans, limited medical offerings, basic life and AD&D, voluntary benefit offerings as well as short and long term disability insurance.

Particularly versed in strategies around the “Quality E mployee E xperience ” and “Persona ” (demographics of the organization), Ashley designs programs that maximize and sustain employee health and engagement utilizing multiple year employee benefits business planning and strategy.

She is especially versed in engaging populations within the workforce where turnover and physical separation create challenges with engagement and communication. Prior to joining Hub, Ashley held a consulting role with a global firm.

Additionally, she has experience on the technology side of Human Capital. She sees the importance of consulting and technology and how together, they can create a holistic strategy for organizations and increase engagement from employees.
 

Justin Thompson
Managing Director, Client Advisory Team, Tolleson Wealth Management 

Justin Thompson, CPA*, CFP®, is a Managing Director on the Client Advisory Team. He serves as a senior advisor, primary contact, and coordinator for all private wealth management client services. Justin provides the comprehensive financial planning and oversight process for clients by identifying, implementing, and monitoring strategies that help meet each client's investment, financial, charitable, family legacy, and wealth-transfer goals.

Prior to joining Tolleson Wealth Management in 2014, Justin was a Senior Associate in the Dallas office of Deloitte. Justin worked in the investment management practice providing audit and advisory services to various forms of investment companies, single family offices, and endowments.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA*), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
 

Paul Westall
Co-Founder, Agreus Group

Paul is the co- founder of Agreus Group, the resourcing and recruitment consultancy dedicated to working exclusively with Family Offices.

He cofounded Agreus in 2010 after recognizing a lack of true partners in the Family office community. Despite a huge demand for tailored and dedicated specialists, Family Offices were being forced to work with organizations that did not understand the intricacies of the Family Office environment or the people it required.

He has worked exclusively with Family Offices and has spent more than a decade building an international reputation as a Family Office specialist. He spends much of his time producing insights and reports to add value to the ecosystem on everything from compensation benchmarking and intergenerational leadership to succession planning and cultural fit hiring.
 

Heather Winslow-Walker
UHNW Senior Family Legacy Strategist, Vanguard

Heather is a senior family legacy strategist with over 20 years of Vanguard experience. She led the development of Vanguard’s Family Legacy program beginning in 2017 and has been working with families ever since to envision and enact their legacy and prepare for the future. She has an extensive background in education that enables her to design educational programs and facilitate group dynamics.

Heather earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Pittsburgh. She holds two master's degrees, an M.B.A. and M.Ed., both from The Pennsylvania State University. She received her professional coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.

Heather Asher Abramson
Director, Relationship Manager, FOX

Heather Asher Abramson is the Director, Relationship Manager at Family Office Exchange (FOX).  In her role, Heather works with business-owning family members to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX. Heather also runs FOX’s Rising Gen Community, designed to provide next-generation family members an opportunity to learn, share experiences, and develop skills as future leaders. Heather has held multiple roles at FOX including membership development.    

Before joining FOX in 2008, Heather served as Strategic Marketing and Events Manager at Aon Corporation. While at Aon, Heather planned and executed more than 100 large-scale events and created the marketing and project execution for Aon’s South America Division. Earlier in her career, she worked on Capitol Hill for a U.S. senator and in the foreign policy department at a lobbying organization. She also has previous experience working in a Chicago-based family office. 

Heather has a B.A. degree in Journalism, Public Relations, and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated with honors from DePaul University with an M.A. in Organizational and Multi-cultural Communications. 
 

Mindy Kalinowski Earley
Chief Learning Officer, FOX 

Mindy Kalinowski Earley is Chief Learning Officer for Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, she fosters integrated learning programs for enterprise families and is responsible for developing the family learning community. She co-chairs the FOX Rising Gen program and serves as an outsourced Chief Learning Office to FOX members. Mindy is inspired by helping people learn, grow, and discover how they will make personal and productive contributions, using their strengths and talents.

Mindy has held various roles in small and large family offices and has been responsible for creating and stewarding professional learning networks supporting human and intellectual capital. She has designed learning experiences that increase the knowledge base and enhance the life path of individuals while providing personalized support and coaching to help them meet their goals. As a Strong Interest Inventory facilitator with a certificate in Family Business Advising, she enjoys helping families and rising generation members navigate the unique world of family enterprise and family relationships by understanding that responsibility and intention pave a path to personal achievement and satisfaction. She has been featured in the New York Times, Family Business Magazine, Successful Generations podcast and is a regular speaker and facilitator. Mindy lives in Rockford, MI, with her husband, daughter, and Bernedoodle.
 

Gabrielle (Gaby) Griffin
Managing Director, Council Memberships, FOX 

Gaby Griffin the Managing Director of Council Memberships at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, Gaby leads the overall Family Office Council experience and manages multiple councils. She provides members with the opportunities to learn from, and share ideas with, highly accomplished and hard-to-find peers in a confidential environment. No matter what hat she’s wearing, her goal is simple – to create value for families by providing objective guidance and timely relevant information to help make informed decisions. Gaby takes a very personalized approach to her relationship management practice and has built client and advisory relationships that span over two decades. She also serves as a member of the FOX leadership
team.

Gaby brings 25 years of wealth management, corporate , investment, and strategic advisory experience to FOX and its members. Gaby joined FOX from Capital Group Private Client Services. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at LaSalle Bank NA advising business owners, their families and family offices, as well as working directly with ultra-high net worth clients as a relationship manager for Abbot Downing. Gaby has been involved with the FOX community for over 20 years.

Gaby earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She obtained a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2013. Gaby is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council (CEPC). Ms. Griffin served on the Board of Trustees and Executive Board for Victory Gardens Theater from 2012-2020. Additionally, she has held several other positions in the non-profit sector and other professional organizations over her career.
 

Emma Gross
Associate Relationship Manager, FOX

Emma Gross is the Associate Relationship Manager at Family Office Exchange. In her role, she supports and provides guidance to FOX members, utilizing her background in family office consulting and benchmarking research. She joined FOX in 2017 and is based in New York City. During her time at FOX, Emma has worked extensively with families, family offices, and family-owned businesses on consulting projects to develop strategic and tactical plans to respond to change and foster family cohesion. Emma has experience with family enterprise strategic planning, family office design, leadership succession planning, family education, and owner engagement, as well as custom quantitative reports on cost and compensation.

Prior to joining FOX, Emma was the Communications Specialist for the National Mining Association, a trade association in Washington, D.C. Emma received a B.A. in government from Colby College.
 

Chris Herbert
Senior Relationship Manager, FOX

Chris Herbert is a Relationship Manager at Family Office Exchange (FOX). He brings to his role a background that is rooted in the Financial Services Industry, having served in the areas of commercial and private banking, as well as Family Business Services. As a senior relationship manager, Chris works with financial families to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX.

Prior to joining FOX, Chris worked in the Family Business Division at The Northern Trust Company, where he managed a portfolio of family business assets that are associated with closely held corporations and partnerships held in trusts and estates. He has experience with assets in a variety of industries, such as, manufacturing, publishing, investing, agriculture, and real estate. Chris also has a background in commercial lending and trust administration. Earlier in his career, he worked as a legal researcher for a well-respected, Chicago-based, intellectual property consulting firm, which specialized in litigation/valuation advisory services.

Chris holds an M.B.A. in International Business and Marketing from the Brennan School of Business at Dominican University.
 

Kent Lawson
Chief Technology Officer, FOX

Kent Lawson is the Chief Technology Officer at Family Office Exchange (FOX). With 25 years of experience as a leader in the wealth management industry, and a deep focus in technology for the family office, Kent’s expertise in consulting, project management, analysis, and diligence around technology drives the FOX Technology Marketplace.  ​

Prior to joining FOX, Kent had an established relationship with FOX as a market leader and as a member. Through his previous role with an enterprise family office and as a contributor to FOX forums, Kent brings over a decade of experience serving at the executive level within a single family office. His expertise in wealth management spans a variety of disciplines, including investment operations, technology, and compliance via working with RIAs, the SEC, and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).  He also served as a business analyst and consultant for Advent Software, as COO of a trust company, and other technology solution vendors. Kent also founded an outsource COO firm in the wealth management industry providing strategic leadership as a trusted advisor.  ​

With a degree in Music Performance from Ball State University, Kent spent his early years performing as a jazz saxophonist and married another musician, which led him to his “day job” within the wealth industry as a part-time file clerk with an RIA. His background in creativity and thinking outside the box provided the foundation needed for designing innovative solutions in business process and technology making him perfectly suited for the family office industry. ​
 

Hilary Leav
Director, Insights & Research, FOX

Hilary Leav is the Director of Insights and Research for FOX. In her role, she oversees FOX’s efforts to effectively use data, analysis, and insights to support members and further industry understanding of the unique needs of family offices.

Hilary brings over ten years of research, evaluation, and analysis experience in leadership positions to her work at FOX. Her most recent work centers on building capacity for data usage and creating and sharing actionable information and insights that can drive strategy development, improve efficiency, and increase shared understanding of complex issues. Additionally, Hilary has extensive international experience and has previously worked in operations, strategy development, process improvement, and grants management in both non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Hilary holds her B.A. from the University of Michigan. She received her M.S. in Measurement and Evaluation from American University in Washington, D.C.
 

Peter Leo
Director, Human Capital, FOX

Peter Leo, SHRM-CP, is the director of human capital at Family Office Exchange (FOX). He is an accomplished Human Resources Leader with decades of experience leading human resources teams with a specialty in talent acquisition, benefits, employee engagement & relations and HR technology. He has a proven success record working within the financial services, technology, financial technology, manufacturing and services industries.
 

Peter Moustakerski
CEO, FOX

Peter Moustakerski is CEO of Family Office Exchange (FOX), the premier resource for families managing private enterprises and family wealth across generations. For over 30 years, FOX has been recognized as the industry’s most exclusive, innovative, and influential community for peer networking and learning, and has provided independent insights, expert guidance, and practical solutions to complex problems related to family transitions and family wealth.

Peter has spent more than 25 years as a C-level strategist and executive across a variety of industries, including wealth management, capital markets, and technology. He is a former family office executive and FOX member, management consultant, and entrepreneur. He has served as a strategy, innovation, and growth leader for a number of private and public companies and founded two start-ups in New York City and China.

Prior to joining FOX, Peter served as Chief Operating Officer of the family office of the founder of Bridgewater Associates, where he worked closely with the principal family members to envision and oversee the redesign of the family office strategy and day-to-day operations to better serve the evolving needs of the family. Before that, Peter was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising many of the world’s top C-suite leaders, and a strategy executive at UBS, leading all growth and transformation initiatives for the bank’s wealth management organization.

Most recently, Peter was Chief Strategy Officer of News America Marketing, a former News Corp. subsidiary, where he built and led the Corporate Strategy and M&A function and led the company’s successful carve-out and sale to a private equity sponsor. In addition, for more than 20 years, Peter has been a contributing writer and researcher with The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), and has led many qualitative and quantitative research projects, and written a number of influential white papers for the EIU, NBER, and other research institutions and media publications.

Peter holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in China, and is proficient in Mandarin, Russian, and Bulgarian.
 

Scott Muench
Managing Director, Core Membership, FOX

Scott Muench is the Managing Director of Core Membership at Family Office Exchange (FOX).  In his role, Scott leads all aspects of the Financial Family market at FOX, defined as those families who no longer own an operating company and family office executives serving these families. Scott is also responsible for leading, coaching, and managing our Relationship Management team and overseeing the overall member experience.

Scott has over twenty-five years as an institutional and ultra-high net worth investment professional, including working at  SEI Investments as head of the Defined Contribution national market, working with plan sponsors on target-date fund and core investment strategy implementation. This experience working with investment committees and professionals enhanced a strong background in asset allocation, capital markets, and strategic and tactical instruments. Scott also worked at Northern Trust Asset Management as a managing director for the eastern region of the United States, working with large complex corporate institutions and asset owners, including foundations, endowments, pension plans, and ultra-high net worth families. Scott's experience at Northern Trust also includes the Global Family and Private Investment Office Group. He led a team of investment relationship managers working with families, family offices, and investment consultants to implement strategies to meet personal financial goals. In addition, Scott managed the team working with 400+ family offices to achieve tax efficiency and superior risk-adjusted returns.

Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University. He earned his Master's in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting from DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
 

Stephanie Simmons 
Director, Relationship Manager, FOX

Stephanie Simmons is a Senior Relationship Manager at Family Office Exchange (FOX). She brings to her role a background in family office operations, having served in a both a dedicated office and virtual family offices. As a senior relationship manager, Stephanie works with financial families to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX. 

Before joining FOX, Stephanie worked with family clients at Personal Office Management, a firm focused on providing financial and project management assistance to high-net-worth families. She also has a background in private equity investing on behalf of institutions and families, including six years with the family office of former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, William Simon. Earlier in her career, Stephanie worked in corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions for two leading investment banks. In addition to Chicago, Stephanie has lived and worked in New York, London, and Vero Beach. 

Stephanie earned a B.A. in political science from Wheaton College in Norton, MA. 
 

Jeff Strese  
Family Learning & Leadership Consultant, FOX

Jeff Strese is the Family Learning & Leadership Consultant at Family Office Exchange (FOX). As a consultant, Jeff has focused on multi-generational family enterprises, corporations, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations. He has more than 25 years of experience working across industries in the areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and family dynamics. He holds certifications in family wealth and family business advising (CFWA, CFBA). 

Jeff is passionate about helping family businesses and organizations create clarity out of the complex and inspiring leaders from all backgrounds to develop and master critical skills like coaching, communication and emotional intelligence. He has developed innovative programs to guide next-generation leaders to reach their full potential in a fast-paced, global economy. 

Jeff has served as Chief Talent and Learning Officer (CTLO) at Tolleson Wealth Management, a multi-family office serving client families across the country. Prior to his role at Tolleson, Jeff served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Southern Methodist University (SMU). 
 

David Toth
President, Membership, FOX

David Toth is the President of Membership at Family Office Exchange (FOX) and is market leader for FOX’s Wealth Advisor members. In his role, he serves as Co-Chair for Multi-Family Office and Integrated Wealth Advisor Councils. He also Co-Chairs the Strategic Chief Investment Officer Council, a peer group for family office CIOs. 

David serves as relationship manager for select wealth advisors and families providing strategic guidance, access to essential research and key insights on issues of importance to them. He has authored, presented, and consulted on topics ranging from client experience and pricing strategies to talent management. 

He is a member of the FOX leadership team, helping to develop and execute strategies designed to better meet members' evolving needs. David also participates in the development of new research and thought leadership for FOX members.  

David brings over thirty years of wealth and investment management, marketing, and strategic consulting experience to FOX and its members. He held key leadership positions in the Asset Management Division at PNC Financial formulating and implementing growth strategies that helped to more than double the size of their wealth and ultra-high net worth businesses. 

David earned a B.B.A. majoring in Marketing and an M.B.A. majoring in Finance & Economics from the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit/Mercy, respectively. In addition, David has completed Leadership and Executive Development programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
