Karen Brooks
Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Technology Risk, Addepar

Karen Brooks is the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Technology Risk at Addepar. Karen brings over 20 years of experience building world-class risk, security and compliance programs to Addepar, leading the company’s security teams and managing all aspects of data and technology risks. Karen joined from Symphony, an enterprise collaboration tool built for global financial institutions, where she was the Senior Director of Security. Prior to Symphony, she was a Director of Technology Risk Management at BlackRock and a Vice President of Information Risk Management at JP Morgan Chase. She started her career at Accenture and EY, where she focused on technology, security and risk services.Karen earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University.
 

Subir Chatterjee
President and Chief Executive Officer, RockIT Solutions, LLC

Subir Chatterjee is a tech entrepreneur and is the founder and CEO of the leading Financial Technology companies – Fi-Tek LLC and RockIT Solutions. Subir started building Fi-Tek in 1998, after spending almost eighteen years in banking – holding leadership positions at Chase Manhattan Bank and Bankers Trust. Fi-Tek has been a tremendous success the last 20 years developing two leading technology products for the Wealth Management and Alternative Investment markets – Global WealthES and HedgeTek. In addition, it acquired Rockit Solutions -  Global Family Office technology and back-office solutions from the Rockefeller & Co, creating a leading solution for complex family office needs. Fi-Tek services over 400 family offices, along with over 600 global private banks, trust banks, RIAs, asset managers, as well as and over 2000 hedge funds and PE funds, with assets over $1.3 trillion dollars across all its technology platforms and outsourcing solutions.

Subir has a MS degree in Operations Research and MBA in Finance from Syracuse University, and also has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT.
 

Ben Collins
Senior Director, Financial Services Industry Marketing, Sage Intacct, Inc.

Ben serves as the Senior Director of Industry Marketing at Sage Intacct, where he focuses on driving growth in the Financial Services segment. Prior to Sage Intacct, Ben was the Senior Director of Product Marketing at SS&C Intralinks, a SaaS provider of collaboration tools for the financial services industry, where he spent 10 years leading the Product Marketing team for the Company’s largest business unit. He has a breadth of experience in the financial services sector, as he spent the first half of his career in investment banking, where he advised on M&A and capital raising transactions to companies in the technology space.
 

Angelo D'Agostino
Cybermaniacs Head of People & Founder, HCG Advisors

For the past two decades, Angelo has built a career focused on Human Resources, Staffing and Administration for some of the most recognized and well respected organizations.

Having held Leadership positions at organizations including Sotheby's, Warner Media (formally Time Warner), Reed Elsevier, Mercer Management Consulting and America Online (AOL), Angelo's mission has remained steadfast; to work as a strategic partner with the business, helping to advise and to never impede.

Over the past ten years, Angelo has expanded his HR expertise by growing his practice to include servicing UHNW Single Family Offices in New York, Los Angeles, Denver and San Francisco.


Jessica Dore
Principal, Technology Solutions, Rehmann

As a leader in Rehmann’s Technology Solutions Group, Jessica oversees cybersecurity assessments, information security assessments, vulnerability and penetration testing, social engineering testing, information security training and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) 404 consulting engagements for publicly-traded companies.
Jessica provides information technology (IT) consulting and security services to a wide range of clients, primarily financial institutions. She is a member of the firm’s financial institutions leadership group.

Rick Fowler
Director of Financial Systems, Petrus Trust Company

Rick Fowler is the Director of Financial Systems for Petrus Trust Company. In the past 23+ years at Petrus Trust, he played a major role in the development and support of their in-house developed Investment Accounting and Portfolio Management system as well as various other operational and tax related software and reporting solutions. Most recently, he led the Petrus team through implementation of Best Of Breed Investment and Family Office accounting software implementations. Prior to joining Petrus Trust in 1998, he worked in various financial and systems related industries in the Dallas area. Rick earned his BS degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 1985.
 

Paul Freeland
Managing Director of SEI Family Office Services 

Paul is responsible for all new business development within SEI’s Family Office Services division. His team is responsible for identifying new opportunities in the marketplace and presenting value-add technology and outsourced service solutions to family offices, private banks, private wealth advisors and alternative asset managers. In a previous capacity, Paul served as President of SEI AFO where he oversaw fund administration operations for the firm’s emerging managers segment. Additionally, Paul was a founding executive of Archway Technology Partners, acquired by SEI in 2017, where he was responsible for the outsourcing and back-office administration services for family offices, multi-family offices, hedge funds and private equity funds. Paul is a graduate of Indiana State University and received his MBA from Indiana University. Paul also holds a CPA designation.
 

Kate Brett Goldman
CEO and Founder, Cybermaniacs

Kate founded Cybermaniacs in 2018 after seeing a clear need for new approaches in keeping businesses and employees safe from cybercrime. The Cybermaniacs creates cyber secure humans through fun and fresh learning content, a digital learning experience platform, scientific change methodology and data driven practices. 

Prior to her cyber security venture, Kate spent over 20 years in the IT trenches solving complex technical problems, aligning IT strategy across business units, and implementing compliance programs at leading global organizations. She ran a successful boutique consultancy firm out of London for 10 years, where she spearheaded digital transformation initiatives, working across many sectors and sizes of organizations both in the UK, EU, and USA. 

Kate has a driving passion to help people live happier and safer lives (online and offline!), and her unique perspectives and experiences demystify and simplify even the most complex cyber security topics. She believes it has never been more important for all people to learn about cybercrime and digital risk both in the workplace and also in their own personal lives.  

Kate is a wife and mom to three amazing kids. She also acts as an advisor to start-ups in the UK and US, is a founding member of the Ladies of London Hacking Society, and speaks internationally on leadership, cyber security, and technology change topics.
 

Stuart Hendry
Head, Operations & Performance, Fi-Tek, LLC and RockIT Solutions, LLC

Stuart has over 30 years’ experience leading Asset and Wealth Management businesses in investment technology and operations. As a result, he brings a broad range of experience in wealth management, family office, and the alternative investment segments. Stu Heads Rockit Solution’s Operations, and its OpsSourcing. 
 

Phil Ierardi
Senior Vice President of Sales, Eton Solutions, LP

Phil Ierardi joined Eton Solutions in April of 2021 as Senior Vice President of Sales. Phil is a 25 year veteran of Fidelity Investments. He spent the last 16 years building out the Fidelity Family Office Services business from a start-up in 2004 to over 450 clients and nearly $200 billion in assets. In his last role with FFOS, Phil was SVP, of Family Office Sales. He oversaw the business development function nationally, as well as the reporting services function consisting of a team of consultants focused on technical and operational efficiency. Having worked with hundreds of single-family and multi-family offices, Phil has extensive knowledge in the area of financial technology and operations as it pertains to the challenges inherent in supporting UHNW clients. Prior to his roles in sales and consulting, Phil was responsible for a team of middle office, back office and product management professionals focused on the development and delivery of reporting services to SFO and MFO clients. He was part of the build out and creation of a new platform, as well as the implementation of a world class service model.

Prior to his career at FFOS, he worked at Fidelity Charitable in a series of roles. Phil was responsible for managing the modernization and conversion of the Fidelity Charitable infrastructure to a new platform. He helped launch a new business for an outsourced, white-labeled donor advised fund. Lastly, he worked as a relationship manager promoting the Fidelity Charitable services to T&E attorneys, CPAs, RIAs and UHNW individuals.

Phil grew up on Cape Cod and now lives with his wife and 3 children in Kingston, MA. He is a graduate of Providence College where he also captained the baseball team and helped them to a Big East Championship in 1992.
 

Jack Kristan, CPA, CIA, MBA
Partner, Plante Moran

Jack is a partner in our firm’s risk and accounting advisory services team and a member of the family office services group. He specializes in operational reviews and business process and internal control consulting to family offices. He presents regularly on the topic of internal controls to the family office exchange and other family office-focused organizations and societies.
 

Natalie Schwarz
Senior Manager, Plante Moran

Natalie is a certified Project Management Professional with more than 11 years of professional service experience consulting for a wide range of clients and industries including family offices. She specializes in helping clients assess, plan for, select, and implement enabling technologies within their organization. Her areas of expertise include business process optimization specifically within financial process area, large-scale project management, and software needs assessments, selections, and implementations.

Glen W. Johnson
Chief Operating Officer

Glen Johnson is Chief Operating Officer at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the member experience, ensuring that each family member, family office executive, and trusted advisor has an unsurpassed experience partnering with FOX by providing unique industry knowledge and insights coupled with a safe and confidential environment where members can share best practices. In addition, Glen oversees the operations of FOX and is charged with establishing and executing systems to execute FOX’s strategic plan, promoting it’s vision and service-centric culture, and enabling the FOX team to work together to exceed our member’s expectations.

Glen has over 30 years of experience working with family offices, business owners, and executives, first as an attorney and then as a wealth advisor, eventually founding Mirador Family Wealth Advisors – the multi-family office for Fifth Third Bank. He has worked with business owners and executives across all stages of their business life cycle including business succession.  Glen writes and speaks nationally focusing on family and business governance and the unique challenges faced during the sale and transition of closely held businesses. 

Glen earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and a Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI.

Kent Lawson
Director, Technology Integration Services

Kent Lawson is Director of Technology Integration Services at Family Office Exchange (FOX). With 25 years of experience as a leader in the wealth management industry, and a deep focus in technology for the family office, Kent’s expertise in consulting, project management, analysis, and diligence around technology drives the FOX Technology Marketplace.

Prior to joining FOX, Kent had an established relationship with FOX as a market leader and as a member. Through his previous role with an enterprise family office and as a contributor to FOX forums, Kent brings over a decade of experience serving at the executive level within a single family office. His expertise in wealth management spans a variety of disciplines, including investment operations, technology, and compliance via working with RIAs, the SEC, and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). He also served as a business analyst and consultant for Advent Software, as COO of a trust company, and other technology solution vendors. Kent also founded an outsource COO firm in the wealth management industry providing strategic leadership as a trusted advisor.

With a degree in Music Performance from Ball State University, Kent spent his early years performing as a jazz saxophonist and married another musician, which led him to his “day job” within the wealth industry as a part-time file clerk with an RIA. His background in creativity and thinking outside the box provided the foundation needed for designing innovative solutions in business process and technology making him perfectly suited for the family office industry.
