Clara Durodié
Executive Chair, Cognitive Finance 

Clara Durodié is a technology strategist specializing in the business and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial services. She is internationally recognized for her expertise, advising Boards of leading financial institutions, think-tanks, governments, and academia. She also mentors AI startups on governance, funding and growth strategy. She is consistently named on numerous global lists of leading women in fintech, and was the Chair of the Non-Executive Directors Board’s special committee on Best Practice for AI Adoption (UK) and a member of IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (USA). 
 
Clara has advised the World Economic Forum’s 4th Industrial Revolution Centre in San Francisco (US), the All Parliamentary Party Group for Artificial Intelligence (UK) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ special commission on Artificial Intelligence (Japan). In June 2017, Clara was also invited as a member of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Alliance.
  
Clara is the author of the highly acclaimed Decoding AI in Financial Services - Business Implications for Boards and Professionals  the first guidebook on AI in financial services for C-level, Boards and decision makers. The book's Japanese translation will be published in Japan in 2021. Clara also writes DecodingAI® Newsletter, a popular weekly digital publication which examines the business and governance of AI in financial services. 
 
In 2015, Clara started scoping the research for her PhD which sits at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence and asset management. Her focus is on how episodic memory informs how people save and invest. In her corporate life, Clara served in leadership roles in European asset and wealth management in the UK, Switzerland and Luxembourg. 
 

Bonnie Gauger
Human Resources Director, Johnson Keland Management

Bonnie Gauger is Human Resources Director at Johnson Keland Management, Inc., the Racine, Wisconsin-based Family Office for the individual members of the Samuel C. Johnson and Karen Johnson Boyd families.  In addition to 13 years of HR leadership experience in the Family Office industry, she has nearly 20 years of experience in the human resources field, including roles as Vice President of Human Resources and Learning and Development at BNY Clearing, a securities clearing subsidiary of the Bank of New York, and previously held HR and Corporate Training positions at Milwaukee-based Assurant Health.  She is an active member of the local and national chapters of the Society of Human Resources Management. She is also a dedicated volunteer and advisory committee member for the Wisconsin Humane Society as well as Crossroads Career Network, a program that assists those in job transition.
Ms. Gauger holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
 

Morey H. Goldberg
Founder and CEO, Rose Glen, LLC

Morey H. Goldberg is the Founder and CEO of Rose Glen, LLC, which he formed in 2013. He focuses on providing holistic wealth planning and life insurance acquisition and review services for ultra-high net worth families. Prior to Rose Glen, LLC, Morey had been an integral part of CMS Companies for over twenty-seven years (1986-2013) as one of the three senior client relationship managers. Morey managed the CMS Life Insurance business for over fifteen years and was the key interface with carrier and industry contacts. CMS’s client base consisted of successful entrepreneurs on the east coast and in the mid-west with a philanthropic focus.

Most of CMS’s clients were industry leaders with vast experience in building and leading successful businesses as well as real estate concerns. Morey also serves on the advisory board of Mainline West, a Municipal Bond Investment Firm.

Throughout his career, Morey has maintained active relationships with many philanthropic groups. He is a current board member of Tikva, an organization funding a Jewish orphanage and various community projects in Odessa, Ukraine. Morey is also an active member of AIPAC and serves on the Executive Board of The Satell Institute that focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He is a past board member of the Harry B. Kellman Academy, past President of the Federation Endowment Corporation and the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and past Investment Chair of Friends of Yemin Orde.

Morey holds a B.B.A. from Temple University and an M.S., Finance from Drexel University. He also holds CLU and Chfc designations from the American College.
 

James P. Kane, CIC CRM
SVP - Personal Risk National Practice Leader, USI Insurance Services 

James P. Kane began his insurance career in 1985 with General Accident Insurance as a marketing trainee. He would go on to serve in similar roles for regional and national brokerages including Sigel Insurance Group, CBIZ, PLI Brokerage and Hub International Ltd. Jim joined USI Insurance in January of 2014 to lead the Personal Risk Practice.

James has long been committed to education and thought leadership as part of career development. In addition to holding both the Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Management designation, he was an instructor for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia for a decade. Jim taught numerous courses including CPCU 2 Personal Insurance Risk Management Principles. He has published articles for The John Liner Letter, WORTH Magazine and FOX Connects. He has contributed his insurance expertise to articles published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Private Wealth Magazine, AM Best, Insurance Business Journal and industry white papers. He has also appeared as a speaker at various wealth management conferences including Institutional Investor, Institute for Private Investors, Family Office Exchange and Family Wealth Advisor. James helped to found the Southeast Family Office Forum held annually in Atlanta GA. He remains a member of the Southeast Family Office Forum Executive Committee.  

James is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He is an active member of the Alumni Association having served as President of the Notre Dame Club of Philadelphia from 1996 – 1998. James is a founding member of Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) and currently serves as a Trustee. He also held the office of President of PRMA from 2015 to 2021.
 

Sean Kevelighan
President and Chief Executive Officer, Insurance Information Institute 

Sean Kevelighan joined the Insurance Information Institute as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2016.  Previously, he was Group Head of Public Affairs for Zurich Insurance Group where he oversaw Government and Industry Affairs as well as Corporate Responsibility.  He joined Zurich in May 2013 as Head of Government and Industry Affairs for North America, with responsibility for driving the public policy agenda in the region. Prior to that, he worked at Citigroup, Inc., as Head of Strategic Communications for its Global Consumer Banking business, and for Zurich, as Head of Group Media Relations in North America. He has served in various public sector posts in Washington, D.C. As a political appointee in the administration of President George W. Bush, he served first in the Department of Treasury as a spokesperson for economic issues, and eventually became Senior Advisor for the Office of Tax Policy. He was also the Press Secretary for the White House Office of Management and Budget. Additionally, he worked on Capitol Hill, serving on the staff of members of Congress; most notably as Legislative Director for Representative Bob Schaffer of Colorado. Sean's private sector experience in Washington, D.C. included positions at public affairs firms such as Edelman and Hill & Knowlton. He advised numerous multinational and FORTUNE 100 corporate clients on policy issue management programs, corporate reputation campaigns and crisis communications. Sean is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He and his wife Annik have three children. He is an avid enthusiast of exercise and outdoors, participating regularly in running events as well as the occasional triathlon.
 

Jason Kohout
Partner, Foley & Lardner LLP

Jason Kohout is a Partner practicing with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is the chair of the firm’s Family Offices Team and works with a number of high net worth individuals and families in tax planning and business succession, including the creation and administration of family offices. Jason focuses in the area of philanthropic planning, working for both families and non-profit organizations.
 

Greg McCann
Founder and Principal, McCann & Associates 

Greg McCann works with family enterprises as an author, educator, coach, consultant, and speaker. This includes family offices in the areas of leadership, team building, succession, and communication. 

As a consultant Greg has helped numerous family enterprises transition to future generations. 

As a speaker Greg addresses national trade associations, universities and family business forums on Leadership, Character, and Family Enterprise. 

Greg has coached leaders and the rising generation for over 20 years and is certified in Leadership Agility, Challenge of Change in Resilience and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

As a thought leader, Greg has published many works on family enterprise. His most recent book, Who Do You Think You Are? is about aligning your character with your reputation. His previous book, When Your Parents Sign the Paychecks, deals with the challenges faced by the next generation in family business. 

Greg, now retired after 27 years in academia, was founder and director of the Family Enterprise Center at Stetson University.

Greg has served on the Board of Directors of the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He is a FFI Fellow and is certified in Family Business and Family Wealth Advising from FFI. He proudly serves on the InnerWill Board of Directors as well as Cornell University’s Family Business Center Board of Advisors.
 

John Nuckolls
Managing Director, Private Client Services National Senior Technical Director, JD, LLM, BDO

John (Jack) Nuckolls is the Managing Director, Technical Tax Leader of the U.S. BDO Private Client Services practice. Jack has more than 35 years of professional experience serving high net worth individuals, executives, closely held business owners, trusts, and estates with respect to income, estate, gift and generation skipping tax planning and compliance issues.

Jack is also a U.S. representative of the BDO International Private Client Services Center of Excellence responsible for providing tax planning advice on a world-wide basis. Jack’s extensive experience in tax planning includes: Estate planning and estate projections for $1.5 billion estate, West Coast Desk of Global Wealth Services Practice of Big 4 firm servicing international gift, trust, estate planning and tax needs of resident and non-resident aliens and US citizens, planning for future distributions from $30 million “drop off grantor” offshore trust in connection with change of tax law under Small Business Act of 1996, inbound planning for individual European client worth $700 million, planning and compliance associated with foreign trusts and estates including informational returns forms 3520 and 3520A.

Rob Ollander-Krane
Talent Management Innovator

Rob Ollander-Krane is a Talent Management innovator known for making talent practices more human and evidence based. He is best know for reinventing Gap Inc.’s performance management process, moving away from the administrivia and towards what actually drives performance. He has also made similar innovations in succession planning and other areas of talent management. Most recently, Rob worked for the Neuroleadership Institute, where he helped bring his passion to hundreds of NLI clients.
 

Courtney Pullen, M.A.
President, The Pullen Consulting Group

Courtney Pullen M.A. is the President of the Pullen Consulting Group. He has more than 25 years of experience in individual and family coaching, business and management consulting, leadership development, communication and team building.

Courtney received his graduate degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1983.  He was a Clinical Associate at the School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver. Courtney also spent seventeen years as a Senior Consultant with Conversant Solutions a Communication and Collaboration Consulting firm to Fortune 100 Companies.

Courtney has lectured frequently, conducted numerous workshops and been published in the areas of individual and organizational change, behavioral finance, communication and family wealth dynamics. He is a former contributing editor to the Journal of Financial Planning and the Journal of Practical Estate Planning and is a faculty member of the Sudden Money Institute. He also holds Fellow status in the Purposeful Planning Institute and is a graduate of the Newfield coaching program.

He has spoken at regional and national conference of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Investment Management Consultants Association, (IMCA), and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), as well as estate planning symposiums and family foundation conferences.

His primary focus is as a consultant to financial services firms and affluent families. He is the author of Intentional Wealth: How Families Build Legacies of Stewardship and Financial Health.  He is also on CPWA faculty at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
 

Jake Seher
Senior Partner, Capitol-Context, LLC

Jake Seher's practice focuses primarily on federal government affairs with a particular emphasis on Congress and the legislative process. He provides counsel on issue management, legislative strategy, coalition development and political analysis. His background includes nearly ten years on Capitol Hill as a staff member in the office of Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (D-DE), and as a member of the Finance Division of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. John was Legislative Director at the law firm of O'Connor & Hannan, and served as Senior Legislative Adviser for over a decade at Venable, LLP.

With 40 years of Washington experience, Jake has successfully demonstrated his solid understanding of the legislative and executive branches of government by effectively identifying policy trends as well as prioritizing key legislative and regulatory issues for his clients. Good judgment and business acumen have allowed Jake to represent Fortune 500 corporations, national trade associations, and major stock exchanges. Jake has extensive experience involving public policy issues affecting Family Offices. Under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act passed in 2010, he successfully advocated the SEC exemption from registration for family offices. He further advocated family office exemptions from CFTC registration as Commodity Pool Operators and Commodity Trading Advisers.

Jill Shipley
Managing Director, Governance and Education Practice, Tiedemann Advisors

Jill Shipley is Managing Director at Tiedemann Advisors leading the firm’s Governance and Education Practice. Jill has 20 years’ experience working with ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, foundations and family enterprises focusing on helping them define and achieve their desired impact with their financial wealth. Jill is passionate and dedicated to helping families communicate, navigate transitions, prepare future generations, formalize decision- making and engage in impactful philanthropy.
 

Seth Spreadbury
National Family Office Practice Leader, Law Firm Practice Leader, Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC  

Seth Spreadbury, National Family Office Practice Leader for Marsh & McLennan Agency, works directly with more than 75 single and multi-family offices, and consults with hundreds more, on insurance and non-insurance risk management solutions. His unique skillset and experience as a management liability insurance underwriter enable him to help professional service companies and other organizations grow by ensuring they have proper coverage. Seth received the "Rising Star Award" in 2018 for his outstanding accomplishments as a new MMA consultant.

Prior to joining MMA, Seth spent 10 years with Chubb and Travelers in both underwriting and alliance-building positions. His time with these leading insurance carriers gives Seth a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience into how insurers price, structure and underwrite the technical policies within executive liability insurance coverage. His technical know-how gives clients confidence that their risks are being transferred appropriately to insurance. Among others, he's well-versed in errors and omissions (E&O), directors and officers (D&O), fiduciary, crime, and cyber liability insurance. Domingo P. Such, III,
Partner, Firmwide Chair, Family Office Services Practice, Perkins Coie LLP

Domingo P. Such, III is a Partner in the law firm of Perkins Coie LLP based in the Chicago office, focusing his practice on excellence in the delivery of legal advice that is results oriented.  He serves as the firmwide chair of Family Office Services, a multi-disciplinary practice representing operating companies, boards of directors, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and family offices including trust companies and quasi-family office arrangements.  

A trusted advisor with significant corporate and trusts & estates tax experience, Domingo has been cited in various publications including Bloomberg, Business Week, Crain’s Business Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Worth, and is a frequent author with multiple published law review and magazine articles.  He lectures nationally on trust and business planning involving complex estates and trusts which are at times contested in court.

Domingo received his undergraduate and M.B.A. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and his law degree from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.  He earned his Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute.  He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and the American Bar Foundation reflecting his experience, integrity and recognized professional excellence.
 

Joy Taylor
Principal, Operational & Organizational Transformation Solution Family Leader, Grant Thornton

Joy Taylor is Principal, National Managing Partner, Organizational & Operational Transformation Solution Family Leader at Grant Thornton. Prior to this role she was the Leader of Grant Thornton's Business Change Enablement Practice. She is an accomplished professional, with over 25 years of cross-functional experience in change management and cultural readiness, Lean Sigma, team facilitation, program management and project leadership. She has the proven ability to manage complex, global programs and initiatives, drive process and productivity improvement efforts and lead change in highly complex, fast-paced environments. 

Joy has led over 10 multi-year, global strategic initiatives in various sectors including energy, pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare, food service, and financial services. She has won numerous leadership awards and written a multitude of articles on topics including governance, program management, change management, diversity in business and supply chain best practices.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Joy was co-founder and CEO of TayganPoint Consulting Group which was acquired by Grant Thornton in October 2018.

Joy holds an M.B.A. with concentration in Marketing and Statistics and a B.A. in Communication Studies and Public Speaking from the University of South Florida.
 

Heath Weisberg
General Counsel, CAM Capital 

Heath Weisberg is the General Counsel, CAM Capital and is responsible for the firm’s legal and regulatory matters. Prior to joining CAM Capital, Heath was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Jacobs Levy Equity Management, a quantitative investment management firm focused on U.S. equities, and Assistant General Counsel of D.B. Zwirn & Co., a multistrategy hedge fund firm. He began his career as an attorney in Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s private fund and mergers and acquisitions practices.

Heath earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Heath serves on the Board of Directors of the Private Investor Coalition and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Light Opera of New Jersey.

Heather Asher Abramson
Director, Relationship Management

Heather Asher Abramson is the Director of Relationship Management atFamily Office Exchange (FOX).  In her role, Heather works with business-owning family members to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX. Heather also runs FOX’s Rising Gen Community, which is designed to provide next-generation family members an opportunity to learn, share experiences, and develop skills as future leaders. Heather has held multiple roles at FOX including membership development.    

Before joining FOX in 2008, Heather served as Strategic Marketing and Events Manager at Aon Corporation. While at Aon, Heather planned and executed more than 100 large-scale events and created the marketing and project execution for Aon’s South America Division. Earlier in her career, she worked on Capitol Hill for a U.S. senator and in the foreign policy department at a lobbying organization. She also has previous experience working in a Chicago-based family office. 

Heather has a B.A. degree in Journalism, Public Relations, and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated with honors from DePaul University with an M.A. in Organizational and Multi-cultural Communications. 
 

Ruth Easterling
Managing Director, Member Services

Ruth Easterling is Managing Director of Member Services at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, she works with family and advisor members to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX. Ruth also moderates the Private Trust Company Network and works with the team at FOX to develop programming and insights for the Network. Ruth has held multiple roles at FOX including leading FOX member services, supervising the delivery of learning programs, and overseeing marketing to drive the redesign and brand initiatives that differentiate FOX today. 

Prior to joining FOX, Ruth worked with the professional services firm Smith, Bucklin & Associates, which provides management and consulting services to more than 180 associations. She served as executive director to professional associations ranging in size from 300 to 4,000 members, re-engineering membership structures and planning processes to better enable organizations to maximize their potential through efficient governance structures and member participation. In addition, Ruth often consulted with international and national organizations on strategic planning and governance design.  

Ruth holds a B.A. degree in Management and Leadership from Judson College. 
 

Marc Gaydos
Regional Director, Membership

Marc Gaydos is the Regional Director of Membership for the East Region at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In this role, he’s responsible for increasing FOX’s membership, solidifying its ability to support the growth and forward thinking of the FOX community.

Marc and the Membership Team will identify prospective family and advisor members, assessing their needs and priorities to ensure a deep understanding of the benefits of FOX membership. In addition to new member acquisitions, Marc is responsible for identifying and securing sponsorship for FOX forums and educational workshops.

Marc has spent nearly two decades in wealth management as an individual producer and as part of management and leadership. Most recently, Marc was an Investor Relations Director raising growth capital from the accredited investor marketplace for private companies. Prior to that, he held roles with increasing responsibility, from Mentor to Chief Operating Officer, within the insurance based financial advisory agency system of Northwestern Mutual and Guardian.

Prior to his career in wealth management, Marc worked in telecom and was privy to the emergence of the cloud-based Software as a Service model.
 

Tony Gebely
Chief Technology and Integration Officer

Tony Gebely is Chief Technology and Integration officer at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In his role, he is responsible for the firm’s technology architecture. Tony also manages the FOX Technology Operations and Data Security (TODS) Network. Tony is also responsible for FOX’s cybersecurity initiatives and is constantly working towards ensuring that FOX’s systems meet the highest standards in data security. He managed the design and operation of the firm’s Drupal based membership website, our marketing automation system, our Office365 instance, our Dynamics CRM instance, and the integration between all of them. He also oversees the accounting and communication systems at FOX.  

Tony has 13 years of experience in technology and marketing. Outside of FOX, he is a leading expert on tea, has traveled extensively throughout Asia studying its cultivation, and authored the book, Tea: A User’s Guide.  

Tony received a B.S. in Computer Science from Rowan University in New Jersey.   
 

Gaby Griffin
Market Leader, Business Owners and Family Office Executives

Gaby Griffin is the Market Leader for Business Owners and Family Office Executives at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, Gaby leads the overall Family Office Council experience and manages multiple councils. She provides members the opportunities to learn from and share ideas with highly accomplished and hard-to-find peers in a confidential environment. No matter what hat she’s wearing, her goal is simple – to create value for families by providing objective guidance and timely relevant information in order to make informed decisions. Gaby takes a very personalized approach to her relationship management practice and has built client and advisory relationships that span over two decades. She also serves as a member of the FOX leadership team.

Gaby brings 25 years of wealth management, corporate banking, investment, and strategic advisory experience to FOX and its members. Gaby recently joined FOX from Capital Group. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at LaSalle Bank NA advising business owners, their families and family offices, as well as working directly with ultra-high net worth clients as a relationship manager for Abbot Downing. Gaby has been involved with the FOX community for over 20 years.

Gaby earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She obtained a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2013. She is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council (CEPC), Women Investment Professionals, 100 Women in Finance, DyMynd Angels, and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Gaby served on the Board of Trustees for Victory Gardens Theater from 2012-2020. Additionally, she has held several other positions in the non-profit sector.
 

Glen W. Johnson
Chief Operating Officer 

Glen Johnson is Chief Operating Officer at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the member experience, ensuring that each family member, family office executive, and trusted advisor has an unsurpassed experience partnering with FOX by providing unique industry knowledge and insights coupled with a safe and confidential environment where members can share best practices. In addition, Glen oversees the operations of FOX and is charged with establishing and executing systems to execute FOX’s strategic plan, promoting its vision and service-centric culture, and enabling the FOX team to work together to exceed our member’s expectations. 

Glen has over 30 years of experience working with family offices, business owners, and executives, first as an attorney and then as a wealth advisor, eventually founding Mirador Family Wealth Advisors – the multi-family office for Fifth Third Bank. He has worked with business owners and executives across all stages of their business life cycle including business succession.  Glen writes and speaks nationally focusing on family and business governance and the unique challenges faced during the sale and transition of closely held businesses.  

Glen earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and a Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI. 
 

Kent Lawson
Director, Technology Integration Services

Kent Lawson is Director of Technology Integration Services at Family Office Exchange (FOX). With 25 years of experience as a leader in the wealth management industry, and a deep focus in technology for the family office, Kent’s expertise in consulting, project management, analysis, and diligence around technology drives the FOX Technology Marketplace.

Prior to joining FOX, Kent had an established relationship with FOX as a market leader and as a member. Through his previous role with an enterprise family office and as a contributor to FOX forums, Kent brings over a decade of experience serving at the executive level within a single family office. His expertise in wealth management spans a variety of disciplines, including investment operations, technology, and compliance via working with RIAs, the SEC, and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). He also served as a business analyst and consultant for Advent Software, as COO of a trust company, and other technology solution vendors. Kent also founded an outsource COO firm in the wealth management industry providing strategic leadership as a trusted advisor.

With a degree in Music Performance from Ball State University, Kent spent his early years performing as a jazz saxophonist and married another musician, which led him to his “day job” within the wealth industry as a part-time file clerk with an RIA. His background in creativity and thinking outside the box provided the foundation needed for designing innovative solutions in business process and technology making him perfectly suited for the family office industry.

Peter Leo, SHRM-CP, is the director of human capital at Family Office Exchange (FOX). He is an accomplished Human Resources Leader with decades of experience leading human resources teams with a specialty in talent acquisition, benefits, employee engagement & relations and HR technology. He has a proven success record working within the financial services, technology, financial technology, manufacturing and services industries.
 

Matthew Murphy
Director, Business Development

Matthew Murphy is the Director of Business Development at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In this role, he is responsible for leading the initiative in identifying prospective family and advisor members; assessing their needs and priorities to ensure a deep understanding of the benefits of FOX membership.  

Matthew has 30 years of client service/business development experience within the wealth and asset management field, most recently as a Vice President, Institutional for Astor Investment Management.  Previously, Matthew served as a Senior Consultant for HFR Asset Management.  Additionally, he has held various client service/business development positions including Partner/Director-Brinson Partners/UBS Global Asset Management and Founding Partner-Xenon Capital Management, a managed futures CTA.  Matthew has a deep understanding and experience in the areas of portfolio diversification and risk management.  He also has extensive knowledge related to the due diligence necessary in evaluating potential hedge fund and private equity investments.   

Matthew holds a B.A. from Columbia University.  He received a M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. (Finance) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was awarded a Graduate Fellowship from the Connecticut General Assembly as a quantitative analyst within the Office of Fiscal Analysis. 
 

Scott Winget
Enterprise Market Leader

Scott Winget is the Enterprise Market Leader at Family Office Exchange (FOX). In his role, Scott serves as Co-Chair for Enterprise Councils and Executive Councils, where members can share experiences, ideas, and best practices with veteran peers in a confidential environment. Scott also serves as relationship manager for Enterprise Family members, in order to understand their unique needs and provide them with access to important research and objective guidance. He is as a member of the FOX leadership team, helping to develop and execute service strategies designed to meet the needs of his market segment, and also participates in new research and thought leadership meaningful to members.

Serving families for over 25 years in the areas or family office, wealth management and estate and tax planning, Scott brings significant experience to FOX and its members. Prior to joining FOX, Scott created and led multi-disciplinary and award-winning consulting groups that provided comprehensive family office services at both Cresset and Ascent Private Capital Management. Earlier, he was a senior wealth planner at Wells Fargo Family Wealth (later, Abbot Downing) and began his career as an income tax and estate planning specialist with Arthur Andersen and EY. Scott has participated in the FOX community for over 15 years.

Scott is a CPA and holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University, where he also earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a dual major in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, Colorado Society of CPAs and the Colorado Bar Association. He has also held several securities and insurance licenses and served on the board of the Mountain Area Land Trust as Treasurer and head of the Finance Committee among other roles with non-profits.
