Thomas W. Abendroth
Partner, Practice Group Leader, Private Clients, Trusts and Estates , Schiff Hardin LLP

Thomas W. Abendroth is a partner in the Chicago law firm of Schiff Hardin LLP and practice group leader of the firm's Private Clients, Trusts and Estates Group.  He concentrates his practice in the fields of estate planning, federal taxation, and business succession planning.  Mr. Abendroth is a 1984 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, and received his undergraduate degree from Ripon College, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees.  

Mr. Abendroth has co-authored a two-volume treatise entitled Illinois Estate Planning, Will Drafting and Estate Administration, and a chapter on sophisticated value-shifting techniques in the book, Estate and Personal Financial Planning.  He is co-editor of Estate Planning Strategies After Estate Tax Reform: Insights and Analysis (CCH 2001). Mr. Abendroth has contributed numerous articles to industry publications, and previously served on the Editorial Advisory Board for ABA Trusts & Investments Magazine. He is a member of Duke University Estate Planning Council.  

Mr. Abendroth is a frequent speaker on tax and estate planning topics at banks and professional organizations.  In addition, he is a co-presenter of a monthly teleconference series on estate planning issues presented by the American Bankers Association. He has taught at the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School since 1990.  Mr. Abendroth is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Cassie Atteberry
Human Resources Director, Chinquapin Trust Company

Cassie Atteberry is a Human Resources Director at Hallmark Cards, Inc. who is dedicated to supporting the Chinquapin Family Trust as part of her client group.  During her twenty-year human resources career she has specialized in helping clients achieve their business strategy by getting the right structures, processes, cultures, talent and talent, processes in place. A significant portion of her time is spent coaching employees and managers on leadership, team and talent development.  

Ms. Atteberry holds master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN.  She is known as a high-energy, strategic partner, a truth teller and trusted confidante.

Mark J. Blumenthal, CPA
Partner, Plante Moran

Mark Blumehthal is a Partner and Leader of the Family Office Service Group at the accounting and business advisory firm Plante Moran in Chicago. He is also the Co-Leader of the Private Equity Venture Capital Fund group in Chicago and one of the senior real estate tax partners of the firm.

Mr. Blumenthal serves as a strategic advisor to ultra-affluent families, family offices, private equity/venture capital funds and mature private businesses. He advises clients on buying, selling and investing in private businesses and real estate; the formation of family and investment limited partnerships, family offices and private foundations; and income tax and transaction planning.

Mr. Blumenthal has written articles for numerous publications, including The Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, The Tax Advisor, Taxation for Accountants, The Journal of Property Management, The Real Estate Securities Journal, The Journal of Real Estate Development, Taxation for Lawyers, Real Estate Forum and The New York State Bar Association Partnership Handbook.

Mr. Blumenthal received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, the Illinois Venture Capital Association, the Thought Leaders Council of the Family Office Exchange, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, Legacy Partners at Lurie Children’s Hospital, and the JUF Professional Advisory Committee having served as chairman.

Andrew L. Busser
Managing Director of Strategy, Pitcairn

Andrew L. Busser is Managing Director of Strategy. His primary roles are to advise wealthy families on long-term strategic investment and wealth matters as well as to cultivate, manage, and deepen relationships with families and single family offices.

With over 25 years as an advisor, investment manager, and strategy consultant, Mr. Busser has extensive experience advising families, individuals, and single family offices. Most recently, Mr. Busser was a partner at Symphony Capital, a healthcare-focused investment manager of private equity and hedge funds. Prior to that, he co-founded Wilkerson Partners, a management consulting and advisory firm that worked with wealthy families, investors and management teams with a focus on the healthcare industry, and he served as a management consultant at The Wilkerson Group/IBM Healthcare Consulting. He began his career in commercial management at The DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Co.

Mr. Busser holds an A.B. in History from Colgate University. Outside his professional duties, he is a trustee of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, and has served on the boards of the Colgate University Alumni Corporation and Lincoln Center Education.

Steven Draper
Partner, Markets & Best Practices, ETON Solutions

For over 30 years Steven Draper has been involved in operations and technology in the high net worth wealth management space worldwide.  He is Senior Executive and at Eton Solutions he is the Subject Matter Expert and works across the verticals of Sales/Marketing and client implementations.

Prior to joining Eton Solutions, he was the Subject Matter Expert/Senior Consultant in Operations and Technology at Family Office Exchange.

Mr. Draper’s many years of U.S. and international experience means he has a breadth of knowledge and insight around technology and operations for the Family Office sector that helps ETON Solutions be a client success focused company.

Mark Galante
President │Field Operations, PURE Insurance

Mark Galante has more than two decades of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, the majority of which has been spent in the high net worth niche. A member of PURE’s Executive Committee, Mr. Galante has served in a variety of leadership roles at PURE and has been an influential voice on the strategy of the company. In his current role, he oversees all of PURE’s business operations in the Northeast (one of PURE’s three geographic zones), as well as the management and development national strategic alliances that help generate profitable growth. In his prior role as Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Galante’s team helped contribute to a seven-fold increase in premium revenues by supporting PURE’s launch in dozens of new states with various advertising and public relations campaigns, rebranding the company and its website, introducing various tools to help PURE’s broker partners acquire new clients, and forming a member engagement practice.

Mr. Galante began his career at Chubb & Son as a trainee and progressed into a variety of management roles in strategic marketing and field operations within the personal insurance business unit. He later served as Vice President for Personal Lines Marketing & Distribution at The Hanover Insurance Group prior to joining PURE. A graduate of Gettysburg College, he obtained an M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Bonnie Gauger
Human Resources Director, Johnson Keland Management

Bonnie Gauger is Human Resources Director at Johnson Keland Management, Inc., the Racine, Wisconsin-based Family Office for the individual members of the Samuel C. Johnson and Karen Johnson Boyd families.  In addition to 13 years of HR leadership experience in the Family Office industry, she has nearly 20 years of experience in the human resources field, including roles as Vice President of Human Resources and Learning and Development at BNY Clearing, a securities clearing subsidiary of the Bank of New York, and previously held HR and Corporate Training positions at Milwaukee-based Assurant Health.  She is an active member of the local and national chapters of the Society of Human Resources Management. She is also a dedicated volunteer and advisory committee member for the Wisconsin Humane Society as well as Crossroads Career Network, a program that assists those in job transition.

Ms. Gauger holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.   

James P. Kane, CIC, CRM
Senior Vice President of Personal Risk, USI Insurance Services, LLC

James Kane began his insurance career in 1985 with General Accident Insurance as a marketing trainee.  After three years on the insurance company side of the business, Mr. Kane accepted his first position as a broker with Louis P. Sigel & Sons as Personal Lines Manager.  He went on to serve in similar roles for regional and national brokerages including Posse Walsh Buckman Van Buren, CBIZ and PLI Brokerage.  In 2005 with the acquisition of PLI by HUB International, Mr. Kane was named President of HUB Personal Insurance. In January 2014 he accepted the post of Senior Vice President of Personal Risk at USI Holdings. USI is headquartered in Valhalla, New York and is currently the third largest privately-held personal insurance agency in the U.S.

Mr. Kane has long been committed to education and thought leadership as part of career development. In addition to holding both the Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Management designation, he was an instructor for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia for a decade.  

Mr. Kane is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Relations.  He served on the Board of the Notre Dame Club of Philadelphia for more than a decade, including two years as Club President.  He has remained an active member of the Alumni Association of Notre Dame.

Dain Kistner
Director of Family Office Innovation, Pitcairn

Dain Kistner is Director of Family Office Innovation at Pitcairn. Mr. Kistner is responsible for helping to guide Pitcairn’s technology strategy, supporting Pitcairn’s business development efforts, and supporting the executive team on a broad range of projects. A fifth generation Pitcairn family member, Mr. Kistner is an elected member of Pitcairn’s Board of Directors, and serves on the Family Council, which he chaired for 10 years.

Before assuming his current role, Mr. Kistner served as Director of Family Office Strategy, coordinating the firm’s strategic planning and business process improvement initiatives across all aspects of the business. Previously, he was Chief Information Officer, managing all information systems and technology-based activities at Pitcairn, including: systems design, programming, network planning, database management, web delivery, and computer operations.

Prior to joining Pitcairn in 1999, Mr. Kistner was Vice President at Bedminster Bioconversion Corporation. He served in a marketing capacity and was responsible for maintaining relationships with technology licensees, negotiating, drafting and approving new license agreements, and managing public relations and communications needs.

Mr. Kistner has a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University and an Executive M.B.A. from Villanova University. In 2009, he was nominated for the Family Wealth Alliance 40minus Award, which honors executives under 40 years that are leaders in the wealth management and multi-family office industry.

Yung-Yu Ma, Ph.D.
Chief Investment Strategist, BMO Wealth Management, CTC | myCFO

Yung-Yu Ma is the Chief Investment Strategist with CTC | myCFO, an integrated wealth management provider that serves ultra-affluent individuals, families and family offices across their tax, estate, investment, philanthropic, risk and family capital needs.

Mr. Ma joined the organization in 2016 and brings a dynamic combination of academic achievements and industry experience to the Investment Strategy team at CTC | myCFO. As Chief Investment Strategist, he is responsible for analyzing macroeconomic trends and performing valuation modeling across asset classes to guide strategic and tactical asset allocations for client portfolios.

Prior to joining CTC | myCFO, Mr. Ma was a finance professor at Lehigh University, where he taught courses in fixed income, equities and derivatives. His academic studies have been cited in The Wall Street Journal, in leading finance journals, top law journals, the Handbook of High Frequency Trading, and in the Oxford Handbook of Corporate Governance. During his tenure at Lehigh, he was awarded the Staub Outstanding Teacher Award, awarded to one faculty member by a vote of faculty and students. Prior to his academic career, he worked for a global consulting firm performing financial and market analysis for global companies with operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Later, he oversaw the operations at a Fortune 500 subsidiary in Taipei and Mainland China.

Mr. Ma earned his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Utah and his B.A. in Economics and Political Science, magna cum laude, at Williams College.

Jesica Speer
Senior Manager, Private Wealth Services, Grant Thornton LLP

Jesica Speer is a Senior Manager in the Private Wealth Services practice within Grant Thornton's Chicago office.

Ms. Speer has over 15 years of experience serving privately-held businesses and high net worth individuals. She routinely partners with family and business advisors to develop and implement high-value, comprehensive wealth transfer and business succession plans designed to preserve wealth, manage risk, and ensure the successful transition of the business.

Ms. Speer also serves a number of individuals with U.S.-U.K. dual status and works closely with Grant Thornton's UK member firm to meet their expanded tax needs. She has direct experience with implementing complex, cross-border planning related to recent changes in the UK tax regime. As a trusted advisor, Ms. Speer prides herself in developing close personal relationships with her clients and serving as the primary point of contact for related technical issues.

Ms. Speer received her Bachelor of Arts in French from East Carolina University. She earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University and earned her LLM in Taxation from
the University of Florida. Ms. Speer is a member of the American Bar Association, Tax Division and a member of the Illinois Bar Association.

Domingo Such
Partner, Firmwide Chair – Family Office Services Practice, Perkins Coie LLP   

Domingo Such is based in the Chicago office of Perkins Coie LLP, focusing his practice on excellence in the delivery of legal advice that is results-oriented. He serves as the Chair of the Family Office Services group, a multi-disciplinary practice representing operating companies, boards of directors, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, family offices (including trust companies), and quasi-family office arrangements. Mr. Such has been cited in Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Worth, Bloomberg, and Crain’s Business Magazine, and is a frequent author with multiple published articles on tax planning matters.  

He lectures nationally on trust and business planning involving complex estates and trusts which are, at times, contested in court. Mr. Such received his undergraduate and M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and his law degree from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He also earned his Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute. He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), which reflects his experience, integrity and overall recognized professional excellence.

Danielle Valkner
Partner, Advisory Services, PwC

Danielle Valkner has over 25 years of industry experience in financial services and is focused on providing management and operational consulting services to hedge fund, private equity, family offices and asset servicing clients.

Ms. Valkner has worked on multiple engagements focusing on process improvement and target operating model design, finance effectiveness, due diligence, risk management, vendor selection and middle and back office system development and implementation. Prior to joining PwC, Ms. Valkner worked directly for two large global asset managers, gaining extensive industry experience in Chief Financial and Chief Administrative Officer roles, responsible for all aspects of middle and back office operations, infrastructure, finance, and accounting.

She also spent over 10 years as an auditor in the financial services sector specializing in banking, asset management and brokerage gaining valuable experience with global banking operations, broker dealers, hedge funds, private equity, commercial real estate, and complex financial instruments.

Ms. Valkner graduated summa cum laude from Augustana College where she majored in Accounting and Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics. She is a CPA and received state and national honors related to the certification exam.

Amy Hart Clyne
Executive Director, Knowledge Center, Family Office Exchange

Amy Hart Clyne is Executive Director of the Knowledge Center for Family Office Exchange (FOX), supporting the firm’s extensive global community of ultra-wealthy families and advisors. Her effort is concentrated on knowledge acquisition, development, management and distribution. Focused on transforming creative, best practice and innovative ideas into practical solutions, Amy collaborates with all of the teams within FOX to ensure that the firm’s collective learning is used to enhance existing member relationships, attract new members, and support the work of the consulting practice. Amy is also responsible for program design and development at FOX including all forums, events and webinars. She is actively engaged in FOX strategic planning, relationship management, marketing and research planning, sales and training meetings, member events and workshops, and new product launch.

Amy joined Family Office Exchange in 2012. Over the prior dozen years, she has worked as a consultant to some of the country’s leading private wealth management firms and private family foundations. Previously, Amy was appointed Global Marketing Director of The Chase Manhattan Private Bank for seven years. Prior to joining Chase, Amy worked in Marketing and Training at Bankers Trust Private Bank and previously served as a Portfolio Manager for Lehman Management Company for six years, in the ultra-wealthy individual area.

Amy received her M.B.A in Marketing from the Columbia Business School in New York, and her B.A. degree cum laude in International Affairs from Colgate University. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and holds an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation.

Charles B. Grace, III
Managing Director, Family Office Exchange

Charles B. Grace, III is a Managing Director at Family Office Exchange (FOX). He works on consulting projects for families and family offices as well as wealth management advisor clients. Assignments have included work on family office and family enterprise design and review, family governance and protocols, advisor selection, best practices and benchmarking, among others. Charlie is also active on the family and advisor membership and research side at FOX.

Charlie has been active for 20 years in the family office community advising ultra-wealthy families and serving as a resource to multigenerational families and family offices. He advised on investment portfolios and wealth management generally for almost 10 years working day-to-day at the multi-family office Ashbridge Investment Management LLC and the single family office Ashbridge, LLC. His responsibilities included client relationships, business development, and membership on the firm’s investment committee, as well as business operations and firm strategy as Chairman of the Management Committee of the $1 billion investment advisory firm. He still serves on the Board of the single family office Ashbridge, LLC. Charlie has been quoted in various publications on the subject of private wealth, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and New York Times and presented at many conferences focused on private investors and family offices.

Charlie is on the Executive Committee and serves as Treasurer and Investment Committee member of the nonprofit Tuttle Fund, Inc. He graduated from the Washington College of Law with a J.D. He received a B.A. and M.A. in history from Bates College and the American University, respectively.

Alexandre Monnier
President, Family Office Exchange

Alexandre Monnier is President of Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global organization that helps wealthy families and their advisors master the unique challenges inherent to wealth ownership. FOX’s support includes networking opportunities, knowledge, advice and education on key topics such as managing wealth, family governance, legacy, succession and best practices for running family offices.

Alexandre oversees FOX globally and has extensive experience in creating, marketing, and delivering premium services to families of wealth in the wealth management, private aviation and healthcare industries—both in the U.S. and internationally.

He joined FOX from PinnacleCare, a leader in private health advisory services, where he led the development of the business in the U.S. and in Europe. Earlier Alexandre ran Skyjet, Bombardier Aerospace’s private jet charter business, transforming the business from an emerging player to a leading private jet travel provider.

Previously, Alexandre spent 10 years as a management consultant serving some of the most widely recognized firms in the U.S. and Europe on issues ranging from strategy to operational and organizational effectiveness. He started his career in finance with Societe Generale.

Alexandre is a graduate of ESCP Europe, one of Europe’s leading business schools. He has been a
member of Young Presidents’ Organization since 2005.

Patrick Flanigan, CEH  
Manager, Plante Moran

Patrick Moran has more than five years of information security, control and IT audit experience in a number of industries, including family offices, financial institutions, healthcare, and payment card industry. His experience includes: IT security audits, attack & penetration assessments, vulnerability assessments, social engineering assessments, wireless security, cybersecurity, and mobile device security reviews. Additionally, Mr. Moran has worked on evaluating and documenting internal controls which include testing and reporting on the IT processes and testing the design and effectiveness of IT security related controls.

Mr. Moran holds the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv9) certification, and he is currently a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).

Rob Gray
Senior Director of Executive Security Programs and Operations, Cox Enterprises, Inc.

Rob Gray is the Senior Director of Executive Security Programs and Operations for Cox Enterprises which includes management of the protection of the Cox Family Office and business executives worldwide. Responsibilities include executive protection, protective intelligence, physical security & operations, investigations, risk mitigation, enterprise business continuity programs and disaster recovery.

Previously, Mr. Gray was the Director of Global Security for Novelis Inc. Duties included managerial oversight for global physical security, executive protection, business intelligence and threat assessment and crisis management. This role included the creation and formation of the international security department. Formerly, Mr. Gray was the Director of International Security and Government Initiatives for Western Union.

Mr. Gray also served as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service for 10 years and has served in undercover roles for international terrorism and financial investigations as well as the Public Information Officer for Media Relations and protective intelligence roles. Mr. Gray was also a police officer for six and a half years outside of Chicago, specializing in gang intervention.

Mr. Gray earned his B.A. and M.A. from North Central College, Naperville, IL in Business and Futures Analysis respectively. Mr. Gray has also been an adjunct graduate professor for Bellevue University for the security management program for 13 years.

Steve W. Locke, CISSP
Director of Security Technology, Northern Trust

Steve Locke is a Senior Vice President at Northern Trust. He is the Director of Security Technology, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. He is responsible for all physical and logical security technology globally, and advises US$1B+ wealth management clients, fund and corporate boards, and executives on cyber security.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in September, 1996, Mr. Locke was the head of corporate IT strategy at Baxter International, and a financial analyst at Time Warner Inc.

Mr. Locke received a B.A. degree in information technology management from DePaul University. He is a member of the FBI Infragard Program with SECRET clearance, as well as The Technology Policy Division of The Financial Services Roundtable; The Secret Service – Chicago Electronic Crimes Taskforce; Business Executives for National Security; and The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center.

Cory R. Lunn, CISA
IT Assurance Manager, Wolf & Company, P.C.

Cory Lunn is a Manager in Wolf’s Information Technology (IT) Assurance Services group where he is responsible for coordinating, supervising and executing IT audit services for clients in a variety of industries, including the financial, educational, commercial and healthcare sectors. Mr. Lunn joined the firm in May 2010.  

Mr. Lunn’s specialties include; enterprise risk management & assessments, IT audits in Microsoft Windows security, mobile device security, web applications, firewalls, general information security and controls, IT governance, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, vulnerability/penetration testing, social engineering, war dialing, various application security reviews, and mainframe security. In addition, He has performed work in various compliance areas including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 internal control testing and Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No.18 and Service Organization Control (SOC) Reports.  

Mr. Lunn is a graduate of Bryant University with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Finance.  He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Joe Oleksak, CISSP, CRISC
Partner, Plante Moran

Joe Oleksak has more than nineteen years of information systems security and information technology audit experience in the financial services industry including: family offices and related businesses, banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and insurance companies. His experience includes: IT strategic planning, IT risk assessments, IT audit, global/local network security projects, web application security, PCI compliance, incident response, and business continuity & disaster recovery management.

Ms. Oleksak is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC). He attends and presents at multiple security and industry conferences annually and is a member of both the Indiana Bankers Association Information Technology Committee and the Illinois Bankers Association Technology Committee. Joe is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Risk and Information System Controls (CRISC).

Eric Powell
Chief Security Officer, Bayshore Global Management LLC

Eric Powell is the Chief Security Officer for a Private Family Office in Silicon Valley. His team is responsible for personal safety and security of his principals and family members, as well as the safety and security of their employees, personal business interests, and various assets located around the world.

Mr. Powell spent 23 years with the US Government (military and civilian), serving as a Special Agent with the US Secret Service and Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Senior Special Agent/Group Supervisor of the US Customs Service, and Security Specialist with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Mr. Powell also served as the Protective Services Manager, and the Regional Security Manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA), for Google.

Colin Taggart, CISSP, CISA, CPA
Senior Manager, Plante Moran

Colin Taggart has more than nine years of information systems security experience, including: cybersecurity risk management framework implementations, IT General Controls, regulatory compliance audits, application security assessments, and assistance in developing policies and procedures such as information security programs, incident response plans and disaster recovery plans. HIs industry experience includes family offices, financial institutions, government, and education.

Mr. Taggart holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and Information Systems and an M.S. degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Michigan State University. Mr. Taggart is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of ISACA-Western Michigan Chapter.

Brent White
Sr. Security Consultant, Threat Services, NTT Security

Brent White is a Sr. Security Consultant at NTT Security as well as a Trusted Advisor for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security on the topics of Physical and Cyber Security. He is also the founder of the Nashville DEF CON group (DC615), and is the Global Coordinator for the DEF CON conference “Groups” program. He has held the role of Web/Project Manager and IT Security Director at the headquarters of a global franchise company as well as Web Manager and information security positions for multiple television personalities and television shows on The Travel Channel.

Mr. White has been interviewed on the popular web series, “Hak5” with Darren Kitchen, BBC News, and on Microsoft’s “Roadtrip Nation” television series. He has also spoken at numerous security conferences, including DEF CON, DerbyCon, ISSA International, SaintCon, PhreakNic, SkyDogCon, NolaCon, various B-Sides conferences, Techno Security & Forensics Con, TakeDownCon, and Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence (AIDE) conference at Marshall University.

Chief Technology and Integration Officer, Family Office Exchange

Tony Gebely is the Chief Technology and Integration Officer at FOX with 12 years of experience in the field. At FOX, Tony has worked with senior management to develop and execute a technology roadmap while collaborating with the marketing, business development and IT teams. He managed the design and operation of a Drupal based membership website, our marketing automation system, a CRM solution using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the integration between the CRM, website, and marketing automation systems using Scribe and native APIs. He also oversees the accounting and communication systems at FOX.

Mariann Mihailidis
Managing Director, Councils, Family Office Exchange

Mariann Mihailidis oversees the FOX member councils, which are private networks of close peers working together to advance their professional development and to solve the unique challenges they face in their management of private wealth. She has extensive experience in the accounting and legal fields.

As a practicing tax and estate planning attorney, she develops strategies in wealth transfer issues, taxes, and corporate structures. Mariann has served as an executor and trustee, and her fiduciary responsibilities included administrative, legal, and accounting duties of various trusts and estates.

Prior to joining FOX in 1996, Mariann worked in one of America’s leading family offices as an accounting manager for the family’s investment partnerships and operating companies. She also spent more than six years in public accounting, including work as an auditor for Price Waterhouse.
