Ken Cameron
Director, Human Capital Services Consulting, Grant Thornton LLP

Ken Cameron is a director in Grant Thornton’s Human Capital Services Consulting Practice. Mr. Cameron is based in Atlanta and serves as a regional compensation leader.  He has more than 25 years of compensation and human resources leadership experience in both the consulting and corporate environments. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Mr. Cameron was with Towers Watson, and was a compensation and benefits leader for a global telecommunications company.  Mr. Cameron has conducted compensation design and review assignments with a wide spectrum of industry experience.

Mr. Cameron has earned the designation of Certified Compensation Professional from WorldatWork and is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) with the Society for Human Resources Management. In addition, Mr. Cameron has been a featured speaker for numerous compensation, human resources, and financial organizations and a contributor to publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Crain’s New York Business, The Financial Times, Bloomberg BNA, the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Accounting Today.

Mr. Cameron has a Master of Science in industrial relations from Loyola University’s Institute of Industrial Relations. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Rochester. 

Dave Croci
Director of Leadership Development, Root, Inc.

In his role as Director of Leadership Development for Root Inc., Dave is passionate about helping people leaders maximize their potential and motivate their teams to execute. Dave has seen the tremendous impact that managers can have leading organizational change, when they truly understand the bigger picture and have the rights skills to deliver results through their teams.

As an organizational development consultant with over 15 years of experience, Dave is responsible for helping organizations maximize their manager capability through the delivery of Root Compass®, Root’s renowned manager development program. Dave has worked with clients like American Airlines, Owens Corning and Honda to empower leaders to improve their team’s performance. Dave has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University.

John Drzik
President, Global Risk and Digital, Marsh

John Drzik is the president of Marsh Global Risk and Digital. Mr. Drzik has global responsibility for the firm’s activities in consulting, captive solutions, data, analytics, and digital, and for the Marsh businesses which deliver solutions to small commercial businesses, households, and individuals (The Schinnerer Group, Private Client Services, Sponsored/Affinity Programs, Dovetail Insurance, Torrent Technologies). He is also the Chairman of the Global Risk Center for Marsh & McLennan Companies.  

Prior to this role, Mr. Drzik was CEO of Oliver Wyman, where he had responsibility for the management consulting business of Marsh & McLennan Companies. He joined Oliver Wyman in 1984, was named Chairman in 2000, and played a key role in establishing the firm’s leadership position in financial services strategy and risk management consulting.  

Mr. Drzik is a frequent speaker at conferences and presents at industry and regulatory events sponsored by the World Economic Forum, Harvard Business School, Geneva Association, and the Financial Times. Mr. Drzik graduated summa cum laude with a BSE in Engineering Management Systems from Princeton University. He is currently on the Advisory Boards of the International Risk Governance Council, and the Wharton Financial Institutions Center.

Brock Elmore
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Consilient

Brock Elmore is co-founder with his brother of Consilient, a company that provides services to businesses, investors, and exchanges to help information flow that drives clarity and liquidity.

In 2014 as an undergrad at Wharton, Brock began mining Bitcoin and by 2017, having taught himself how to code and create machine learning algorithms he was able to create a price prediction algorithm for Bitcoin that outperforms the market. This resulted in Brock’s launch of a hedge fund that still operates today. Brock’s co-leadership of Consilient,  focuses on the future of the information flow space helping companies provide transparency. STOs (Security Token Offerings) are the next big thing in cryptoassets and are set to bring liquidity of equity in companies of all sizes - but with little regulation in the space, investors need help and clarity. Brock is 2nd generation in a family full of entrepreneurs doing amazing businesses.

DG Elmore
Entrepreneurial Parent, Elmore Companies

DG Elmore is a G2 family leader, Chairman of Elmore Companies and renown as a serial entrepreneur in a variety of industries today. He is most proud of being an enterprising parent of four children who are themselves entrepreneurs and currently lead companies in drone technology, mining, logging, crypto hedge fund, womenswear and cryptoassets market intelligence lead by son Brock. DG is very intentional in his ideas for encouraging and developing entrepreneurial children in his family.

Sophie Felts
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Sophie Felts Floral Design

Sophie Felts is CEO and founder of Sophie Felts Floral Design a leading floral design firm sought after for events and weddings in Maryland and beyond. Sophie comes at her interest in horticultural and landscaping from an early age as a 2nd generation member of the award winning Ruppert Family of Companies headquartered in Laytonsville, Maryland. Sophie and her husband Mike are the proud parents of 4 dynamic and interesting children.

Stephen Hohenrieder
Chief Executive Office & Chief Investment Officer, Meyer Family

Stephen Hohenrieder is the CEO and CIO of a single-family investment office where he is responsible for a portfolio that includes a broad range of assets, business interests, and structures.  He is an entrepreneurial investor who is particularly interested in companies, real assets, and people that are financially focused but also strive to create social and ecological benefit.  With diverse experience as an investor and entrepreneur, his career has provided a broad perspective for investing on behalf of family offices that relied on him to source, evaluate, and manage holdings in funds and direct investments. 

For the past nine years, Stephen has been making strategic direct investments along the value chain of our food system in ways that promote more regenerative land management practices, the production of healthy food at scale, and connect people to each.  He has played a unique role that bridges production agriculture, consumer products, the capital markets, and impact-oriented values.  In his role as an investor, board member and advisor, Stephen actively collaborates with other families, funds, universities, non-profits, and public agencies.

Austin Kimson
Co-Founder and Senior Economist, The Bain Macro Trends Group, Bain and Company

Austin Kimson is the co-founder and senior economist of Bain & Company’s Macro Trends Group. The Bain Macro Trends Group (MTG) is the capability group for developing Bain’s insights about global macroeconomics, macro social trends and geopolitics as they impact the results of Bain’s clients. His expertise is in global macroeconomics, market pricing dynamics and corporate failure and distress and he is principal author and developer of MTG’s major studies including the recent megatrends series on capital markets, spatial economics, and the intersection of demographics and automation.  

Mr. Kimson joined Bain in 2004 in its San Francisco/Silicon Valley offices and has served clients in all major sectors with emphasis on financial services, industrials, technology, and privately held companies. Prior to joining Bain, Mr. Kimson spent three years working at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in the System Cash Product Office, the Federal Reserve System’s national office for managing the supply and distribution of currency and coin. While there he led several key analyses on the transactional uses of currency in the US economy.

Tim Kuppler
Director, Human Synergistics, Inc. and Founder, CultureUniversity.com

Tim Kuppler is the Director of Culture and Organization Development with Human Synergistics, a 40+ year pioneer in the culture and leadership space. He leads partnerships with universities, consulting firms, professional organizations and some of the top culture experts in history. He is also the co-founder of CultureUniversity.com, a 100% educational site with a faculty of culture experts and a purpose to positively impacting society on a global scale through culture awareness, education, and action. He is an accomplished speaker and recognized as a top 100 leadership conference speaker on Inc.com. As a senior executive, he managed numerous culture and performance transformations with best practices featured in case studies, books, and keynote presentations. He was previously President of Denison Consulting and is the author of Build the Culture Advantage, Deliver Sustainable Performance with Clarity and Speed.

Alexandra Mayr-Gracik
President and Chief Executive Officer, Sabika, Inc.

Alexandra is the President & CEO of Sabika, Inc. a company founded by her mother Karin Mayr in 2001. Karin’s vision was to create a company of beautiful jewelry pieces made “by women for women”. Alexandra joined the company shortly after inception as the Head Designer incorporating her Austrian heritage and studies of fashion design in Vienna into the timeless pieces Sabika has become renown for today.

With 26 Collections under her belt, Alexandra continues to design and inspire in her leadership role today. Alexandra advocates through Sabika’s philanthropic work in local communities with a focus on child abuse prevention, and through Sabika’s annual October Pink Party initiative for breast cancer awareness. A true inspirational leader in the second generation of this inspiring women owned and led company.

Tina Milligan
Managing Director, BMO Wealth Management - CTC | myCFO

CTC | myCFO serves over 300 wealthy individuals and families across the United States and internationally, and oversees more than $36 billion in assets under management or advisement, with an additional $46 billion in assets under custody and administration. Ms. Milligan joined the organization in 2014 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including working with financial institutions and public accounting firms. She oversees the delivery of integrated wealth management advice and client service for ultra-affluent clients. Ms. Milligan’s expertise includes tax planning and compliance, wealth transfer, charitable and philanthropic planning, and business owner and corporate executive planning. 

Ms. Milligan earned a B.S. in Accounting from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She has an M.S. in Accounting from Roosevelt University Heller College of Business in Chicago, and a J.D. from Concord Law School. Ms. Milligan serves on the boards of Chicago Estate Planning Council, Roosevelt University, and the Women’s Leadership and Mentoring Alliance. Ms. Milligan is a member of AICPA, New York State Society of CPAs and Illinois CPA Society. 

Patrick Moriarty
Tax Partner, PwC

Patrick Moriarty is a partner in PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management Tax practice and provides tax consulting, planning and compliance services to a variety of US and non-US clients in the asset management industry. His clients include private real estate investment funds, REITs, private equity funds, investment advisors, and fund of funds. He has an extensive background in the taxation of funds and management companies, structuring alternatives for various investment types and investor classes, international and withholding tax issues and accounting for income taxes.

Patrick received his MSA and BS degrees from the University of Illinois in Chicago and is a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society and NAREIT. He is a routine presenter for the PwC Professional Development Program and instructs various internal continuing education programs.

Chris Stillwell
Chairman, Stillwell Family Enterprise

As the middle sibling of five third-generation members of the Stillwell Family Enterprise, Chris Stillwell currently serves as Chair of the Family Board, and as an executive director on the Stillwell Motor Group Board.  He started in the family car company over 45 years ago as an apprentice motor mechanic, and later worked in many parts of Australia in both car and heavy truck businesses.  Mr. Stillwell spent 11 years managing the family car business in the U.S. and later the family’s diversified direct equity business investment portfolio.  He served as CEO and later Executive Chairman of the Family Group, and also served as a non-executive director for an ASX listed automotive group. In his spare time, Mr. Stillwell races historic touring cars in Australia and the U.S.  He and his wife, Tamara, live in Melbourne and have two children. One at University, and one serving in the US Military.

Marianne Stillwell
Chairman, Stillwell Motor Group

Marianne Stillwell serves as Executive Director for the Stillwell Family Office, and Chairman of the Stillwell Motor Group Board. She began her professional career as part of the graduate program at Ford Motor Company and progressed to management roles within Ford Credit. Ms. Stillwell worked as a school teacher for a decade before joining the family business in 2010 and establishing the family office. Today her family office role covers compliance, strategy, NextGen engagement and development as well as governance roles on the Family and Operating boards.  Ms. Stillwell has an M.B.A. from RMIT, Grad Dip Ed from Melbourne University and a B.A. (Hons) from Trinity College in Connecticut U.S.  She also serves as Chair of the Wesley College Council and Deputy Chair of Independent Schools Victoria. 

Jeff Strese
Chief Talent and Learning Officer, Tolleson Wealth Management

Jeff Strese serves as chief talent and learning officer at Tolleson Wealth Management. His focus is on the strategic design and implementation of human capital initiatives, learning systems, and family education programs that focus on the well-being of Tolleson client families. He serves as a strategic business partner to senior leaders to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. He works with advisory teams and provides facilitation and coaching support with clients on family dynamics and generational transition issues. Mr. Strese sits on the firm’s Executive Committee and leads the Family Education Committee. 

Formally the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Southern Methodist University, he continues to teach in SMU’s Cox School of Business, Executive Education Program as an adjunct instructor in human capital strategy and leadership. Mr. Strese completed his undergraduate and graduate work at the University of North Texas in psychology and clinical counseling. Early in his career, he had a private practice in marriage and family counseling as a Licensed Professional Counselor before transitioning into organizational development and executive coaching. He is currently a member of the Teach For America – DFW Advisory Board.

Julie Wald
Founder and Chief Wellness Advisor, Namaste New York

Julie Wald began her career as a Clinical Social Worker 25 years ago and practiced as a therapist treating adults, adolescents, and children in mental health and hospital settings. In tandem with her mental health experience, Ms. Wald has been immersed in the world of wellness since 1993. Combining her clinical background and decades of experience as a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, reiki master, and mother of three, she advises and implements extraordinary self-care plans for Namaste’s clients, both private families, and institutions. 

Ms. Wald has worked with high-performing executives, celebrities, families, children, and those coping with chronic or life-threatening illness to help them navigate and optimize their day-to-day lives, manage stress and pain, and cultivate lifelong well-being. Close to her heart and an integral aspect of Namaste’s purpose is a commitment to service. She has worked with her Co-Founder and husband, Michael, to deliver complimentary yoga, massage and other wellness services to a wide variety of underserved and disenfranchised New Yorkers in schools, hospitals and the city parks.

Hardeep Walia
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Motif

Hardeep is founder and CEO of Motif, a technology-driven thematic investing company that combines data science and automation to develop breakthrough financial products for individual investors, financial institutions, and investment advisors. 

Motif was voted by Fast Company as the “World’s Most Innovative Company in Personal Finance” and has consecutively been ranked on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 List. Mr. Walia was named by Goldman Sachs as one of the “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs” in the world and recognized by Forbes as one of “The New Money Masters.”

Mr. Walia spent more than six years at Microsoft, where he was General Manager of the company's enterprise services business. He also served as Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, helping to oversee Microsoft's investments and acquisitions. He started his career as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

Mr. Walia holds a B.S. in Engineering and Economics from Yale University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business. He holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses in the securities industry.

He has served as a member of FINRA’s Technology Advisory Committee, FINRA’s Small Firm Advisory Board, and as an advisor to U.S. Bank’s Ascent Private Capital. 

Robert Wolcott, Ph. D.
Clinical Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Kellogg School of Management

Robert Wolcott, Ph. D. is Clinical Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Dr. Wolcott won Teacher of the Year from Kellogg’s EMBA program in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.  He is also a managing partner with Clareo, a foresight and growth strategy consultancy serving global corporations.

Dr. Wolcott serves on advisory boards for ZF, a 40 billion USD German automotive supplier, and H-Farm, the leading technology ecosystem in Italy. He has served on advisory boards for the Nordic Council (Oslo), Kraft Foods, and GE.  

Dr. Wolcott is a regular contributor for Forbes on the impact of technology on business, society, and humanity.  His book, Grow From Within:  Mastering Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation (McGraw-Hill, 2010) has been published in Chinese and Japanese.  Dr. Wolcott’s work appears in MIT Sloan Management Review, strategy+business, The Harvard Business Review (online), The Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age, Business Week, The Financial Times (European Edition), The New York Times, and numerous overseas publications.

Dr. Wolcott is an angel investor in enterprises such as crowd funding leader Indiegogo (www.indiegogo.com), student loan innovator Lumni (www.lumni.net), legal documentation platform Page Vault (www.page-vault.com/), transaction security technology firm Magic Cube (www.magiccube.co), healthcare analytics providers SA Ignite (www.saignite.com) and ClearCare Online (acquired by Battery Ventures), international art show EXPO Chicago (www.expochicago.com), and a blockchain-based startup in stealth mode.

Dr. Wolcott holds a B.A. European and Chinese History; and an M.S. and Ph.D., in Industrial Engineering & Management Science, from Northwestern University.
 

Family Office Exchange Presenters

Paulina Cromwell, CFA
Product Manager

Paulina Cromwell is a product manager at Family Office Exchange (FOX). She is responsible for client education, advisory, and research related to Impact Investing & Philanthropy. Paulina cares deeply about helping families align their activities with their values. She works with families to achieve their goals across the family enterprise, including charitable giving, impact investing, and business initiatives. 

Prior to joining FOX, Paulina was a portfolio manager in the Family Office Investment Advisory Practice at Northern Trust. She worked with family offices and their foundations on investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager selection. She also led the team that conceived Northern Trust’s Family Office Consulting business. Paulina began her career in Corporate Strategy, focused on the company’s M&A activities and the annual strategic plan with the Board of Directors.

Paulina received a B.S. Degree in Finance from Florida State University, with a Minor in History. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (C.F.A.) charterholder and a member of the C.F.A. Society Chicago. Paulina is also involved with several mentorship and financial coaching organizations throughout the Chicago area.
 

Ann Dugan
Senior Managing Director of Advisory Services

Ann Dugan is the senior managing director of Advisory and Educational Services leading the FOX team in the delivery of services to substantial family enterprises and family offices striving to achieve long-term sustainability and multi-generational success.

Ms. Dugan was an early innovator in understanding the power of knowledge, research, and entrepreneurship in building the enterprising family capacity and sustainability as she launched one of the first global institutes at the University of Pittsburgh. As founder and leader for nearly 30 years, of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence while also serving as the Assistant Dean for the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business her success in helping other families, universities and regions flourish has been recognized with numerous awards. Ann led her own successful succession in 2014. Post University, Ann focused her work on assisting families to start philanthropic organizations and foundations, served as Executive in Residence for the Family Business Network (FBN) until joining the FOX leadership team in 2016.

Ann holds a B.S. in Economics and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Ann is a fourth-generation member of a business-owning family and is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and led several ventures to success. Ms. Dugan currently serves on several public and private Boards of Directors.

Nate Hamilton, CFA
Advisory Board Member

Nate is currently co-founder and managing partner of Heritage Partners Group, a private equity investment and operations platform focused on the acquisition and roll-up of consumer retail and information services businesses. Nate has significant experience in partnering with and investing alongside private family capital and family-owned businesses.

Prior to founding Heritage, he worked in investment banking, sales and trading, and private equity across several institutions including Goldman Sachs, UBS, and as a co-founder of FDX Capital, a direct-investment platform built for FOX family offices. Nate currently sits on the Advisory Board of Family Office Exchange and is a consultant to the Direct Investment Network.

He earned his B.S. degree in Economics from Vanderbilt and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Sara Hamilton
Founder and CEO

Sara is a recognized visionary in the private wealth community. While a trust officer at Harris Bank in Chicago in the late 1980s, Sara witnessed the emergence of family wealth management as an industry. Hundreds of U.S. families became centi-millionaires overnight through leveraged buyouts that spawned private financial offices commonly called family offices, to manage family assets and educate wealth owners. Sara was the first professional to recognize family offices as a complex and unique market segment in wealth management. 

Sara founded Family Office Exchange (FOX) in 1989 as a peer network for family office executives. Within 10 years, FOX could see that families needed help with their enterprise vision, managing financial transitions and educating family members on responsible ownership. As a result, FOX expanded the member network to include educational workshops and strategy consulting for family enterprises, and a network for making direct investments in operating companies was added in 2010. 

Today, Sara provides strategic direction for FOX and leads the development of new programs and services supporting family enterprises, family office executives and wealth advisory firms in more than 20 countries. FOX has built a unique team of professionals serving multi-generational families, led by 15 technical experts who are supported by a dedicated team of 30 additional employees based in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Sydney and Madrid. 

Sara is the co-author of Family Legacy and Leadership: Preserving True Family Wealth in Challenging Times, and serves on the executive education faculty of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she is an adjunct faculty member for their Private Wealth Management course, offered twice per year in Chicago. She is on the founding boards for the International Private Directors Association in Chicago and the Foundation for Gender Equality in New York. 

Kristi Kuechler
Managing Director, Investor Market

Kristi Kuechler is the President of the FOX Private Investor CenterTM and the moderator of the FOX Private Investor Council. Kristi has opened the West Coast office for FOX and is based in San Francisco.

Kristi joined FOX after five years as Partner and Managing Director of Lattice Strategies, an investment firm based in San Francisco. Prior to her work at Lattice, Kristi served as President of the Institute for Private Investors (IPI), where she was responsible for content and curriculum development and oversaw all matters related to membership. Kristi also created the Private Wealth Management program offered at Stanford University and ran it for three years.

Kristi has a bachelor’s degree from University of California-Davis, and a masters in educational policy from Stanford University.

Miguel López de Silanes Gómez
Managing Director, International Market

Miguel López de Silanes Gómez is the FOX Market Leader for Europe and Latin America. He is responsible for delivering FOX services to current members and also works actively to expand the network in Europe and Latin America.  His base is in Madrid, but he spends half of his time in Latin America. 

Miguel has most recently been director of the family office for one of Europe’s leading real estate families, with specific responsibility for designing and implementing the family’s investment strategy and for providing owner education to the younger family members.  

Previously, he worked at UBS Wealth Management in NY, Chile, and other locations in Latin America.  He began his career at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant in London and Madrid.  He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid. 

Alexandre Monnier
President

Alexandre Monnier is President of Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global organization that helps wealthy families and their advisors master the unique challenges inherent to wealth ownership. FOX’s support includes networking opportunities, knowledge, advice and education on key topics such as managing wealth, family governance, legacy, succession and best practices for running family offices.  

Alexandre oversees FOX globally and has extensive experience in creating, marketing, and delivering premium services to families of wealth in the wealth management, private aviation and healthcare industries—both in the US and internationally. 

He joined FOX from PinnacleCare, a leader in private health advisory services, where he led the development of the business in the U.S. and in Europe. Earlier Alexandre ran Skyjet, Bombardier Aerospace’s private jet charter business, transforming the business from an emerging player to a leading private jet travel provider. 

Previously, Alexandre spent 10 years as a management consultant serving some of the most widely recognized firms in the U.S. and Europe on issues ranging from strategy to operational and organizational effectiveness. He started his career in finance with Societe Generale. 

Alexandre is a graduate of ESCP Europe, one of Europe’s leading business schools. He has been a member of Young Presidents’ Organization since 2005.

David Toth
Managing Director

David Toth is a Managing Director at FOX. In his role, he harnesses proprietary and non-proprietary research to develop actionable insights and perform strategic analyses for family offices and wealth management advisor members. Assignments include constructing a pathway of initiatives that assist family offices and wealth advisors in building pricing strategies, elevating client experience, talent management strategies and optimizing team structure and achieving profitable growth. David has written reports on “Creating Memorable Client Experiences,” “The Value/Price Relationship,” “Strengthening the Partnership Between Families and Advisors” and most recently “The Shifting Talent Paradigm”. He serves as co-moderator of FOX’s Multi-Family Office (MFO) and Integrated Wealth Advisor (IWAC) Councils. 

David brings over thirty years of wealth and investment management, marketing and strategic consulting experience to FOX and its members. Over the past fourteen years he has held key leadership positions in the Asset Management Division at PNC Financial formulating and implementing growth strategies that helped to more than double the size of their wealth and ultra-HNW businesses. David has played a lead role in the wealth industry through his work on client satisfaction/loyalty, improvements to both the client and advisor experience, pricing strategies, development of new investment products and approaches, and the launch of Wealth Insight® an award-winning blend of technology and advisor/client interaction.  

David earned a B.B.A. majoring in Marketing and an M.B.A. majoring in Finance & Economics from University of Michigan and the University of Detroit/Mercy, respectively. In addition, David has completed Leadership and Executive Development programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
