Data Security and Confidentiality

 

At Family Office Exchange (FOX), the privacy and security of your personal information is our highest priority. We maintain careful control and strict confidentiality for all of your family information. Our commitment to security and privacy is backed by two-factor authentication and bank level 256-bit encryption. All data, in transit to/from and at rest at FOX, is encrypted. All servers are hosted in a private cloud to ensure the highest level of data security and disaster recovery preparedness.

 

FOX uses Qualtrics for its online surveys. Qualtrics uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption (also known as HTTPS) for all transmitted data and protects surveys with passwords and HTTP referral checking. From time to time, our firm requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys, including Benchmarking, is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information.

 

Information requested may include contact information, demographic information, and other data in answer to survey questions. Any personal information gathered by FOX is used to communicate with you, to process and respond to your requests, and to identify industry trends.  Personal information is never sold, rented, or used for other purposes. FOX employees and contractors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and any misuse of client information  is grounds for disciplinary action.

 

FOX surveys are designed to gather industry data for the benefit of survey participants and FOX members. All survey responses are reported in aggregate form only to protect the privacy of respondents. Data is never attributed to any one person or family office. 

 

Survey participants and FOX members are the only recipients of survey results. If you participate in a survey, you receive a full summary report. FOX family office members who do not participate also receive an executive summary of the survey highlights. FOX may share survey highlights at industry forums and meetings, and we typically host a webinar to share the key survey findings with FOX members. FOX benchmarking survey data is not available for sale to any audience.
