FOX Community Builder Award
The purpose of the award is to recognize members of the Family Office community who have distinguished themselves through extraordinary achievements in business, their professions, and civic engagement.
The Community Builder Award was inspired by FOX's former president of membership, Glen W. Johnson, and so many members of the FOX Community (past and present) who believe in the power of community and are instrumental in nurturing and growing it. The honoree will demonstrate the characteristics and values listed below.
CONNECTORThe person is a natural connector of people, with a genuine concern with helping to connect people who can mutually benefit from knowing each other and/or learning from one’s situation. |
INCLUSIVEThe person helps build bridges among people with differing viewpoints or different backgrounds. |

INSPIRINGThe person possesses a strong moral character, inspires others to reach their potential. He/she is encouraging, optimistic, and a visionary. |
EFFECTIVEThe person has been highly effective in his or her field and has a measurable record of accomplishment. |

PHILANTHROPICThe person has demonstrated exceptional acts of philanthropy to the community as an individual or through his/her work. |
SOCIALLY INVOLVEDThe person has worked to support organized public or private social services for the assistance of disadvantaged groups. |
Eligibility
Nominated individuals should be currently or previously working in support of the family office industry from any sector (private, public, or nonprofit) and in any discipline (such as a family office, business, education, wealth management, professional services, economic development, or philanthropy).
2024 Selection Committee
The Selection Committee is comprised of individuals who were selected because of their personal and/or professional relationship with Glen W Johnson and can attest to the general qualifications of the nominees.
In choosing the recipients of the FOX Community Builder Award, the Selection Committee will consider information and biographies on each candidate.
