In 1882, J.D. Rockefeller was widely credited with establishing the first full-service single-family office in the United States.  As the family grew in size, assets, and complexity, the need for a comprehensive family office platform grew.  By the late 1990’s a search began for a scalable technology that would help meet multiple needs as diverse as general ledger accounting, financial reporting, performance, data aggregation, and partnership/tax accounting.  No such product existed so the decision was made to develop the software in-house. 

In 2000, Rockit Command went live. In 2005, Rockit Solutions became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rockefeller & Co. and began to offer family office services to third-party clients.  In 2016, Rockit Solutions was acquired by Fi-Tek, LLC, an industry leader in the trust accounting and wealth management technology spaces.  In 2024, we rebranded as Fi-Tek Wealth Solutions.
