KnowLedger is a middleware SaaS solution that moves data from portfolio accounting systems like Addepar, Black Diamond, Masttro, APX, and others, with a rules-based approach that ensures accuracy, completeness, and data confidence for the posting of this information to ERP/GL solutions like Sage Intacct and Oracle NetSuite.

KnowLedger developed based on family office relationships that Ryan Kerry, CEO, had with a previous business that supported the investment operations for family offices, asset management, and wealth management firms. These businesses only had the option for manual entry of investment related assets into the GL.

The design required a multi-variable rule engine that could effectively transpose the investment related information into accounting language of Journal Entries into a General Ledger.
