Wealth Management Analyst


Job Summary:
 
Play an integral role in the family's activities with a high level of responsibility as the point person for evaluating, planning and strategizing investments. Responsibilities include formulating new business proposals, developing company forecasts and valuations, evaluating merger and acquisition scenarios. Associate is expected to work on every aspect of the transaction process and mentor / manage the team.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the execution of mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions, financial modeling, industry and comparable company analysis
  • Prepare and deliver standard and tailored presentations to family
  • Co-lead due diligence process for all new direct and private equity investments
  • Co-lead negotiations and structuring of new investments
  • Evaluate and plan asset allocations including real estate components
  • Seek opportunities for development through the job itself, through special assignments, training, or external activities
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
 
Qualifications include knowledge of:
  • Concepts, practices and procedures of investment analysis and wealth management
  • Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry
  • Concepts, practices and procedures of tax and accounting
  • Financial markets, investments and real estate
 
Skill in:
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial statements and direct investing opportunities
  • Analytical skills sufficient to assess and explain events in the market
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think independently sufficient to market ideas
  • Defining high standards of quality and evaluating products, services, and his/her own performance against those standards
 
Ability to:
  • Gather information, identify linkages and trends and apply findings to reports
  • Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation
  • Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all family members and family entities
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Assume full responsibility and accountability for own actions
  • Demonstrate uncompromising adherence to ethical principles
  • Prepare and deliver clear, effective and professional presentations

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
MBA Degree with five (5) years of experience in investment analysis and wealth management

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in investment banking or private equity
~or~
Private equity fund formation and administration experience
~or~
Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources
 
Licenses/Certifications:
FINRA Series 7 License
CFA, CAIA, and/or CPA designation
