Argos Family Office, LLC, a private multi-family office, is seeking a knowledgeable tax accountant to maintain and service all tax and business advisory needs of assigned clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for pass-through, individual, trust, estate and foundation entities

• Analyzing tax information to determine tax liability by researching federal and state laws, regulations, and tax rates

• Performing tax planning; preparing tax projections on a quarterly or as needed basis

• Researching complex tax matters and planning related with those matters

• Assisting in compliance issues that arise and corresponding with various taxing agencies

• Preparing client quarterly financial statements to identify and incorporate value-added services

• Facilitating services for clients including but not limited to banking and cash management, business planning, accounting services, investment management, insurance, estate planning, philanthropic strategies, and other general personal financial planning tasks

• Business consulting; including but not limited to buy/sell analysis, IRR analysis, net worth analysis, general accounting projects

• Participate in client review meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the tax concepts needed to prepare federal and state tax returns.

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to identify and solve problems

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

• Must be a team player and be able to consistently meet deadlines.

• A strong desire to be of service to clients; resourceful and flexible

• Professional attitude, demeanor and appearance

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, tax research applications, and tax preparation applications; experience with Prosytems fx a plus

• Trust experience preferred

• Working toward, or have already earned the CPA designation

• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting tax department
