TAX ACCOUNTING MANAGER

This tax accounting role and the Family Office environment are incredibly unique, varied and highly service-oriented to meet our clients’ needs. The Tax Accounting Manager is responsible for facilitating the entire process of financial statement and tax return preparation for clients and entities, including but not limited to review of information compiled for use in the preparation process, initial review of the financial statements and tax returns, preparation and review of tax estimates, providing adjusting journal entries to the accounting team and maintaining systems to ensure deadlines are met. In addition, this role will assist the entire Financial Manager team with a variety of client-related financial projects. The Tax Accounting Manager will report to a Financial Manager.

Candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years public accounting experience. A CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus. Tax return review experience is required and familiarity with research and financial statements is expected.

Successful candidates will have strong workflow management and analytical skills, be process and detail-oriented and have a passion for learning. They must possess strong organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and diligently follow-through on projects. They will have very strong computer skills, including advanced experience with Excel and moderate use of Word. They will exhibit a highly professional demeanor and be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Candidates will be motivated to provide consistently exceptional service to clients and colleagues, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player who is positive, empathetic and able to easily build rapport and collaborative work relationships.
