Senior Investment Professional for Family Office
An established North Suburban Chicago Family Office is looking for a Senior Investment Professional. Working closely with a family principal and CFO, the individual will serve a family investment partnership, G2s, G3s and a number of trusts. The office culture allows for a three or four day a week schedule and encourages work/life balance.
Specifically, he/she will monitor and evaluate existing investments across asset classes within the portfolio, including performance measurement, asset allocation and overall investment strategy. Perform tasks associated with account administration and portfolio maintenance. Analyze and review potential new investments as existing investments mature. Serve as principal point of contact with money managers, investment advisors and GPs of alternative investments. And, prepare quarterly reports.
The qualified candidate with have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of investment analyst/management experience, including demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of investment strategies, possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to analyze and assess appropriate asset allocation strategies, strong communication skills and, an awareness of tax issues related to investment is helpful. A Bachelor’s degree is required, an MBA would be a plus. And, progress towards or completion of CFA is desireable.
