An established, multi-generational family office serving one family group is relocating their offices from Chicago, IL to Palm Beach, FL. A new role has been created who primary responsibilities will include investment bookkeeping and categorizing financial inflow/outflow for 300 private equity investments. The Senior Accountant will also oversee wire transactions and reconcile accounts.

The ideal person will have worked in a Big Four accounting firm; necessary experience includes familiarity with public investment dividends, private equity investments, and fund distribution.

The right professional will be precise and highly accurate. The family office has designed this role to be 95% remote with periodic visits to the new family office on the island in Palm Beach, FL.

There is an existing long-term accounting and investment team of 6 in place to provide support and training. After being hired, the Senior Accountant will fly regularly to Chicago for training and orientation. The ideal start date is early summer 2022.
