The Senior Accountant has important responsibilities: oversee, evaluate, facilitate, coordinate and orchestrate the financial aspects of multiple entities and projects in various industries. These include but are not limited to property and land management, and restaurant and wellness facilities; oversight and direction for annual budgeting and budget forecasts; accurate and consistent delivery of monthly financial reporting packages and presentation decks; depreciation schedules, tax forms, 1099s and payroll; A/P and A/R, administrative and process improvement activities; due diligence.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years direct and proven experience in various accounting roles

• Experience working with multiple entities and inter-company accounts

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite

Other:

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multi-task respond to changes as they occur

• Ability to explain necessary accounting procedures to non-financial people

• Able to present recommendations and ideas clearly and concisely

• Must work well with others and develop good relations and communication internally and externally

• Able to prioritize multiple projects and tasks and respond to changes as they occur

• Able to travel in-state

• Able to provide own transportation and operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license

• Must be able to move or lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
