Job Description
The Jeffrey Company is a well-established single family investment office with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for reporting on company investment strategy and results to the family owners and will address the wide-ranging financial needs of the owners. The relationship manager will handle matters relating to private banking, investment management and consulting; real estate and insurance solutions; financial, tax and estate planning; fiduciary services; private foundations; and administration and reporting needs.
The responsibilities will include the development of new family client relationships, managing complex accounts and clients with challenging and complicated estate planning needs, and providing an exceptional client experience while adhering to required risk management/compliance policies and procedures. The accounts might include multi-generational trusts among multi-family lines, complex gifting situations, unusual family dynamics, litigation concerns and special assets. The estate planning needs might include multi-family and generational planning, dynasty trusts, disclaimers and complex wealth replacement strategies. In this role, the Relationship Manager will act relatively independently on client and group projects drawing upon innovative problem-solving skills, knowledge of trust and estate administration to build client and team rapport and manage expectations and outcomes.

· Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong preference for a law degree and/or other wealth management-related professional experience.
· Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and group presentation skills.
· Solid working knowledge of client contact and relationship management systems and technology, and the ability to build effective network resources.
· Demonstrated ability to participate and seek involvement in local community, business, non-profit and civic organizations.
· Willingness to travel extensively for the purpose of face-to-face meetings with family owners and other Company activities.
