Relationship and Trust Officer
Hallmark's Charitable and Crown group operates a private trust company that manages a sophisticated investment portfolio, provides trust management, financial reporting, tax compliance and other services for its clients. Clients include individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and private foundations.
We are seeking a Relationship and Trust Officer to work with our clients to meet their various personal financial needs in alignment with their individual goals. This role acts as the “front door” for their designated clients to engage with the office and is responsible for the completion of banking and lending needs, budgeting, real estate transactions and estate planning. The Relationship and Trust Officer leads a cross-functional internal team to then provide proactive, client-focused service in support of meeting all the client needs, from day-to-day administration as well as ad hoc requests. As the client’s advocate the Relationship and Trust Officer leads the team in strategic analysis of options to help the client make educated decisions. This person will be responsible for administering a large portfolio of trust and acts in a supporting role for the Senior Relationship and Trust Officer, trust beneficiaries, attorneys and outside vendors to ensure efficient handling of all service needs, including compliance exams, trust distributions, property management and real estate activities. While the Relationship and Trust Officer has no direct reports, the leadership role they play in directing the cross-functional client teams is significant.
Strong relationship building, consulting and communication skills, as well as financial acumen are critical to the success of this role as the relationship and trust officer works to deliver best-in-class service to our clients. We are looking for someone whose personal leadership and fit with our culture are as strong as their leadership skills.
