President/CEO

Company Overview

Based in Bayport, Minnesota, SRI is a private family office providing professional integrated philanthropic, financial, and individual services to its clients along with traditional wealth management services.

SRI was created in 1996 by Christine and Sarah Andersen to promote their mutual interest in   philanthropy – giving back to the community. That giving takes the form of sharing time, talent, and treasure. Along with their working partners at SRI, they believe strongly in “Building Community and Strengthening Families.”

SRI’s definition of Building Community involves supporting efforts to increase the capacity of the community. Sometimes that means addressing the causes of problems, working on prevention, developing citizenship and leadership skills, providing for immediate needs, and helping people work towards independence. These activities make the community more healthy, informed, safe, educated, productive, beautiful, inclusive, clean, caring, responsible, and interdependent.

SRI provides a wide range of philanthropic services to foundations, corporations, and individuals, including but not limited to the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation and Andersen Corporate Foundation.

Vision Statement

SRI supports the Andersen Family mission to work together to:

  • Foster family connections and sustain wealth across family branches and generations
  • Facilitate philanthropic giving including supporting the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation in perpetuity
  • Serve as responsible stewards for their collective ownership of the Andersen Corporation, while respecting diversity and individual choices

Mission Statement

SRI provides individual and collective wealth management and philanthropic services for the descendants of Hugh J. and Jane K. Andersen, including descendants’ spouses, domestic partners, and adopted children, to achieve shared family and individual goals.
