Part-time Family Office Staff Accountant/In-Charge Bookkeeper

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Accounting and/or applicable bookkeeping experience (i.e. thorough understanding of accounting model)
  • Quickbooks experience
  • Exposure to high net worth family a plus
  • Strong PC skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bank and broker reconciliations.
  • General Ledger monthly closings
    • Prepare monthly journal entries to for income/expense accruals, marking investments to market, reclassifications, etc.
    • Produce Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows
  • Maintenance of electronic filing system for all invoices, contracts, etc.
  • Maintain HR files for household staff and liaise with payroll company
