Part Time Bookkeeper

A family office and related law firm are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to assist with payables, receivables, account entries, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking and allocating expenses
  • Processing payments
  • Bookkeeping/journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounts in QuickBooks
  • Tracking and facilitating receivable payments
  • Keeping office records
  • One-off accounting and payable projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills with other accountants, the firm principal, and outside professionals

Compensation

  • $28 to $40 an hour depending on experience
