Operations Assistant for Family Office CEO
A private family with an office in Atlanta and a large estate property in Western North Carolina would like to hire a detailed professional with strong math and business acumen to provide the principals of a family estate with administrative and operational support while overseeing all aspects of their family office. The right candidate will be an exceptional operations professional who is timely, accurate, and possesses high-level technology and communication skills. This position is split working from home and/or the principal’s home in Atlanta three days per week and two days at the North Carolina estate property per week.
Primary responsibilities for this position will include:
· Overseeing the complex operations of the principals’ properties and family office, including extensive calendar management
· Serving as communication hub for other family members
· Maintaining a wide range of files and project information, including tasks lists, process and procedure documentation, etc.
· Extensive oversight of financial documents, including reconciliation of expense reports and credit card statements, payroll assistance, and overview of other accounts
· Providing general technology review and assistance
· Drafting internal and external correspondence; reviewing and editing additional documents, reports, etc.
Necessary qualifications include a proven success in an administrative support role; a strong work ethic; and great technology skills (including proficiency with the Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, QuickBooks, both Mac and PC computers, etc.). Prior family office experience a plus. Candidates with a financial services background are encouraged to apply. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business or a related field.
Generally, a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to work evening and weekend hours. Will be expected to travel weekly to North Carolina overnight to work two days from the estate property; accommodations provided in North Carolina.
Compensation of $80,000 to $90,000 offered, depending on experience, with a benefits package that includes health coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan.
