GENERAL FUNCTION:

Manages and coordinates the bank’s relationship with clients as part of a customized team responsible for delivering consistently high-quality customer service and advice-based solutions to achieve the goals of families with a net worth in excess of $100 million or $50 million in investable assets within Mirador Family Wealth Advisors (Mirador).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Sales:

o Actively participates in new business development with the Mirador team for prospects that would potentially work with that RM.

o May source new business opportunities resulting from industry, client and COI contacts.

* Client Experience:

o Serves as primary trusted advisor for between 8-12 family relationships within Mirador depending upon size and complexity, which typically generate more than $7million in annual revenue.

o Coordinates services for complex clients with challenging and complicated estate planning needs, typically including multigenerational trusts with discretionary payments among multiple family lines, while managing financial risk.

o The families often use complex gifting strategies, maintain closely held business entities and private foundations, the administration of which requires collaboration with co-trustees and multiple family and professional advisors.

o Collaborates with the Mirador Investment Group (MIG), the Client Service team, and the clients to develop investment objectives, implement an appropriate investment plan and maintain an Investment Policy Statement for each relationship.

o Coordinates MIG’s investment of assets according to investment policy guidelines to deliver a competitive rate of return within the agreed upon level of risk.

o Coordinates MIG’s execution of investment requirements of any complex estate plan or documents in which Fifth Third Private Bank serves as trustee, executor, personal representative, guardian or agent for the fiduciary.

o Ensures service standards and metrics are met based upon client needs, asset allocation and risk management.

o Develops and executes an annual wealth management plan appropriate for the defined service standards, including conducting quarterly/annual reviews and leveraging the client service team to ensure the clients’ needs are being met in a consistent manner.

o Demonstrates a superior ability to gather information, assess alternatives and make sound recommendations while mitigating risk.

o Collaborates with the Client Service Team to ensure alignment and exchange information and resources necessary to meet shared objectives.

o Coordinates the delivery of advanced planning techniques through knowledge of complex investment products and services and integration of wealth planning resources within Mirador.

o Coordinates and collaborates with the client service team and the clients’ third party advisors (e.g., attorney, accountant) in developing, interpreting, communicating and facilitating complex estate planning matters as part of the advice-based solutions presented to the family.

o Resolves problems as the clients’ primary contact and trusted advisor.

May include formal or informal supervision of RM I or RM II working with clients jointly served.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
* Brings a minimum of 10 years of successful, ultra high net worth client service experience.
* Demonstrates advanced knowledge and mastered skills in the areas of trust administration, estate planning strategies and income and gift and estate tax matters.
* Operates effectively in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
* Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrates superior interpersonal negotiation, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
* Uses effective leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.

* Computer / Technical: Ability to use all Microsoft Office software including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
