We are a local large CPA Firm that offers our clients tax, audit, family office, and business valuation & litigation services. We are located in scenic downtown West Palm Beach, FL.  CDL is seeking a Family Office Manager to join our Multi-Family Office team of highly motivated professionals.  As a Family Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to experience the intricacies of a niche accounting market and manage complex work. 

We are seeking an organized, detail-orientated leader with a proven ability to teach and coach staff. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages multiple client engagements and works with staff to coordinate workflow.
• Supervises engagements and special assignments.
• Maintains the accounting functions of the client and their various entities.
• Recognizes non-routine accounting, investment and tax problems in client operations and develops recommendations for solutions.
• Manages engagement realization and pursues strategies to provide satisfactory engagement economics.
• Supports staffing efforts by providing feedback on applicants, participation in conducting interviews and the overall hiring process.
• Utilizes high level of technical proficiency to review supporting staff's work. 
• Develops and coaches staff, and establishes relationships to develop new business for the Firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least six to eight years experience demonstrating a progression in complexity of responsibilities.
• Either hold a current and valid CPA license or working towards obtaining the license by taking and passing the Florida CPA exam.
• CPA’s must be members in good standing with the AICPA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks. 
• Experience with Quicken, a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
