HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

Job Description

               

This position is responsible for providing professional Human Resource services as part of a team.

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage recruiting processes with Director of Human Resources; recruit and attract talent.
  • Plan and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Conduct research, summarize, and provide recommendations regarding a variety of HR topics.
  • Prepare various documents and presentations, including new hire guides, matrices, benefits documents, etc.
  • Implement, organize, and maintain HR systems, records, data, and databases; ensure data integrity.
  • Research and draft HR policies and processes.
  • Support benefits administration.
  • Provide support to the in-house payroll process.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between Human Resources, employees, and other departments.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities.
  • Propose process and system improvements in an effort to automate and increase efficiencies.
  • Actively participate in a variety of projects.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3-5 years of human resources experience; experience in recruiting required.
  • Knowledge of and experience with human resource practices and programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Demonstrated writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet commitments.
  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
  • Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality.
