Fiduciary Accountant/Bookkeeper
Biltmore-area multi-family office seeking experienced full-time Fiduciary Accountant/Bookkeeper to assist with high-net worth client family engagements. Professional should possess an in-depth knowledge of multi-state trust laws and be fluent in investment and tax concepts.
Ideal candidate must be able to proactively identify issues and problem solve as well as implement and establish process improvements. Ability to work independently or as part of a team is required. Excellent communication skills is necessary. Experience with tax compliance is a plus.
Primary responsibility will be to provide bookkeeping services for individuals and related entities. Responsibilities will include:
- Production of budgets and financial statements
- Cash flow management and money transfers
- Account reconciliations
- Management of third-party relationships with banks and other vendors
- Preparation of tax filings such as W-2s, 1099s and sales tax returns
Aptitude in using and learning technology is essential:
- Required proficiency in Excel and financial reporting products such as Quicken and QuickBooks
- Knowledgeable about fiduciary accounting software
- Ability to use online filing systems, such as efileforbusiness.com
- Experience with tax compliance and tax software, such as ProSystems CCH, a plus
Position may require some travel around the Valley to client sites. Confidentiality is paramount.
