Family Office Executive

Lowenhaupt Global Advisors has been providing wealth management services globally for over 100 years and is based in downtown St. Louis. Lowenhaupt manages wealth for generations of families by integrating all components of wealth management – investment advisory, tax and estate planning, risk management, fiduciary services, family governance and philanthropy.

 

Lowenhaupt is adding to our existing staff and is actively searching to fill a newly created position of Family Office Executive, who will report to the Chief Family Office Executive. This position in a highly professional office is responsible for providing a high-level of client service, acting as an advocate for clients, coordinating the delivery of advisory services including working with internal and external professionals, supporting the investment team with financial planning, investment counseling, asset allocation and investment selections.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordination of Services

o Responsible for the coordination of a variety of wealth advisory services including trust administration, cash management, estate planning, investment and philanthropic services

o Partner with, and manage, internal and external support service teams to provide high level of service to clients

o Assist in the development and implementation of wealth management strategies.

 

· Client Liaison

o Act as an advocate for client family and resolve client concerns

o Develop an in-depth understanding of individual client circumstances and needs

o Act as the main point of contact for client-related issues, both internally and externally

o Organize and lead client related meetings

o Escalate issues when appropriate and offer solutions to problems

 

· Management and Organization

o Assist with the development and/or enhancement of current practices to improve client service experience.

o Assist in projects on an as-needed basis

o Escalate issues when appropriate and offer solutions to problems.

· Investment Management

o Coordinate with internal finance team and external managers, custodians and advisors to help invest client accounts and prepare performance reports and related analysis

o Financial planning

o Monitor and implement client investment strategies involving multiple accounts and allocations

o Coordinate and perform research and analysis to support strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions

o Support quantitative and qualitative analysis on investment strategies

o Conduct transaction reconciliation

 

REQUIREMENTS

· Advanced degree (MBA, JD) strongly preferred and/or respected industry certification (e.g. CFA, CFP) required

· Minimum 10 years of experience working in the financial services field

· Series 65

· Strong knowledge of customer relationship management, trust and financial services

· Strong listening skills

· Capable of maintaining excellent working relationship with client and maintain highly confidential information

· Strong knowledge of financial markets/investment principles

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills including risk return analysis

· Experience with non-profit organizations

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a highly professional manner with both internal personnel and external providers

· Self-directed – ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities

· Strong management skills, decision-making abilities, and leadership qualities

· Able to work collaboratively in a professional team environment

· Ability to multi-task and assist in the management of competing priorities and projects
