Executive Protection Administrator

GENERAL SUMMARY

Executive Protection Administrator provides administrative and security service to the heads of the household of the Client families; supervises and/or administers the necessary activities to assure the personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of the Client family’s daily activities and lives in general.  Extensive domestic and international travel, and evening and weekend hours will be required.

OVERVIEW

·       Represent the family in accordance with their personal and professional standards of conduct and ethics.

·       Exercise discretion and independent judgment in fulfillment of Client family’s business operations.

·       Objective as a household staff team member is to contribute to the simplification and efficiency of the daily activities of the Client family.  Commitment to personal service exhibited in a gracious manner is essential.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in order to effectively interact with household staff and with professional and personal family contacts.

·       Position requires a person of highest personal integrity who is well organized, flexible in work schedule requirements, and able to handle multiple projects and situations calmly and effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Activities

·       Assumes overall responsibility for safety of Client family at all times, including personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of Client family’s business and personal matters.

·       Coordinates security and residences of Client family, including establishment of security policy; may hire, direct, evaluate, pay, and dismiss related security personnel; participates in evaluation of background checks for perspective household employees.

·       Maintains and updates written security plan and procedures.

·       Advises Client family on security measures.

·       Observes, identifies, and handles all situations unwanted, unnecessary, and/or threatening to Client family members.

·       Investigates threats against Client family members.

·       Participates in periodic training on security measures.

 

Administrative/Supervisory

·       Coordinates activities, transportation, changes in travel plans, or other requests by the Client family.

·       Identifies and plans routes to and from a variety of points of destinations, e.g., meetings, conventions, etc., and selects the appropriate means of travel.

·       Coordinates a variety of services along with maintaining necessary communications with local, state, and federal police, fire and medical emergency agencies, regarding the Client’s activities and services as required.

·       Coordinates and procures necessary manpower and security coverage per destination or activity needs.

·       Handles and accounts for cash transactions for Client family’s personal purchases or purchases for necessary equipment, manpower, and/or security services.

·       Works with others to secure property and equipment, e.g., automobiles, buses, planes boats, etc., during extended trips to ensure Client family’s security.

·       Works effectively with other staff (Personal Household Assistant, Property Manager, Household Chef, Housekeepers, Groundskeepers, Yacht (crewmembers, etc.) and all other household or corporate employees as required.

·       Performs special projects and any and all other duties as requested by Client family members.

Additional Requirements

·       Responsibilities of Executive Protection Administrator are conducted in the home(s) of the client, as well as at various national and international locations.  While an employer/employee relationship exists, it is important that employee is genuinely committed to being part of the household staff team whose goal is to positively contribute to a Christian home environment.

·       Preservation of a peaceful household atmosphere is essential.  Responsibilities should be carried out with minimum of intrusiveness into activities of the family.  This requires flexibility and ingenuity with sensitivity to privacy of family members at all times.

·       Executive Protection Administrator must be responsible, dedicated, dependable, and self-directed person of highest integrity; organized and reliable; positive in attitude; and one who demonstrates pride in service which he/she provides.

The family’s privacy and security are or critical importance; the highest level of confidentiality must be exercised at all times.
