Director of Investment Compliance and Reporting

This position is responsible for the process, policies and procedural aspects of the investment group with an emphasis on reporting, forecasting, analysis, controls, and other investment-related matters. The individual will provide strategic financial input and leadership on operational matters affecting the investment organization and coordinate investment-related matters with other departments. This hands-on manager will supervise investment analysts and those responsible for portfolio modeling. Responsibilities include oversight, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the investment group's reporting, operations and budget performance; serving as a key member of the cross-functional team responsible for the implementation, development and maintenance of investment data systems; working closely with Investment Accounting with respect to the accounting for investment related transactions, cash management, and additional portfolio reporting. This critical position requires the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/CFA preferred. • At least ten years of experience at a private equity-related firm or leading financial services firm in the areas of operations, reporting, and/or compliance required. • Supervisory experience required. • Working knowledge of portfolio management software required. • Must be self-motivated. • Must have excellent organizational skills. • Must be highly attentive to details and possess strong analytical capabilities. • Must have a keen sense of urgency and a high degree of responsiveness and follow-through. • Ability to deal comfortably with and build credibility with senior management. • Discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive business information required.
