The Moneta Family Office team is seeking a Director of Family Office who will play an integral role in development and execution on the value-add roadmap and strategy. The Director of Family Office is a key position that will be responsible for leading and growing our FMO talent at the firm. We expect this Director of Family Office to be a leader in performing private client business development and relationship management in the ultra-high net worth and family office space.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to develop and implement a Family Office strategic plan.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and a dedicated resource for our advisor teams.
  • Provide thought leadership in all areas of managing ultra-high net worth families.
  • Participate in drafting proposals and RFP responses.
  • Create best practices to build sustainable business models aligned with the goals of the families and the families they serve.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to heighten awareness of Moneta Family Office in the industry.
  • Develop third-party professional alliances and resources to the family office community. These areas include but are not limited to firms that specialize in technology/reporting solutions, banking/lending, family office administrative services/bill pay, family office external consultants and lifestyle management solutions. 
  • Partner closely with Marketing to develop family office specific collateral, presentations, and social media presence.
  • Provide ‘Raving Fan’ service to clients internal and external

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in working directly with the ultra-high net worth community.
  • A deep subject matter expertise in the family office community.
  • Experience in Relationship Management/Business Development with Private Clients.
  • Ability to quickly establish a strong rapport with clients where they respect your expertise, listen to your ideas and trust that you are looking out for their best interests.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with members of our teams to ensure the integrated and seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Be well organized and successfully lead multiple projects at once with internal and external resources to successful execution.
  • Ability to identify key issues and trends for family offices and their clients. Proactively leverage ideas, insight, and relationships to improve the experience of UHNW clients and family offices.
  • Stay abreast of competitive offerings in the UHNW industry ranging from technology, reporting, events, etc. and how it impacts Moneta’s market share within our segment.
