Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for TQL, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company’s finance, accounting, billing, credit, collections, purchasing, and real estate functions. You will be a critical business leader proving strategic direction to the COO and executive committee, along with developing and executing the corporate finance strategy. You will be expected to acquire a deep understanding of business drivers and success metrics and advise and influence stakeholders to help deliver results in our highly competitive industry and environment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE • Present or former CFO, or experience reporting directly to the CFO at a $20B+/20k+ employee organization • Current or recent experience in a large sales or business services organization • Strong understanding of high-volume business transactions • Experience in a high growth environment • Proven ability to build departments and strong leadership teams • History of having multiple business line responsibility and/or developing metrics for non-F&A functions • M&A experience required • Strong and extensive business network required • Preferred, but not required • Transportation experience • Diverse career beyond F&A • For-profit board experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide strategic and financial leadership to the COO and executive committee to help with the continued growth and direction of the company • Influence business decisions by fully understanding the organization, business strategy, sales model, industry, and market • Lead the finance, accounting, billing, purchasing, and real estate teams • Drive profitability and productivity by gathering a deep understanding of business drivers and then challenging the status quo, and providing guidance and solutions • Build FP&A capabilities to become a strategic asset to management by providing accurate, insightful, and actionable data • Develop and execute the corporate finance strategy • Continuously improve the finance and accounting operations with appropriate systems and processes that can scale with the business • Champion financial and operations excellence, establishing metrics and SLAs with internal customers to define and communicate expectations from the team • Collect, interpret, and report on financial data • Attract, hire, retain, and develop a best[1]in-class finance and accounting team • Ensure internal controls are sufficient and compliant with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws
