Chief Financial Officer

A well-established East Coast family office seeks to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their senior management team. This role is responsible for all financial, accounting, reporting, staffing, quality control, and service-related activities related to the family office. Must possess strong technical and interpersonal skills to foster cross-organizational collaboration for day-to-day property operations.

 

A primary focus of this role is to ensure the family office maintains a solid understanding of each property, investment, and asset in its portfolio while keeping the principals informed and supported. The CFO will report to the Principals and the CEO and will lead a team of successful family office and private service professionals as a member of the senior management team.

 

The successful candidate will be strategic, energetic, and thoughtful with extensive experience in a relevant industry, such as finance, accounting, luxury hotel operations, or real estate. International management and operations oversight experience preferred. This person will be based in the tri-state area at a Connecticut office and perform significant extended travel, both domestic and international to the portfolio of properties across five continents up to 50% of their time.

A master’s degree is preferred.
