Business Development Manager

W&W Family Office Korea is seeking a Busienss Development Manager position to be filled at its Korea location.  The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute strategy.

 

Roles:

  • Develop both new professional networks and new customer networks.
  • Discreetly maintain current client relationships and 3rd party professional networks, including group of high level advisors.
  • Oversee communications with Korea and USA team in business development and continuing matters. Maintain professional communication and interaction, assisting in the installation of a “team” approach in a culturally Korean environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Identify and gain new clients. Make presentation to at least 5 new prospective annually and sign up 1-2 HNW clients with minimum net worth of USD 50 million or more, annually.

• In connection with client services, develop additional sales and marketing strategies for younger generation HNW group and small business owners

Relationship Maintenance

• Maintain and improve client relationship to ensure happiness with our services and address all issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain and manage advisor relationships. Understand W&W Advisors’ concerns and suggestions at monthly advisor meeting and address them in a swift, professional manner.

Team and Reporting:

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the Korean team

 

• Set up quarterly / annual goals for business development and communicate with team members

• Report progress to US headquarter in a bi-monthly basis. Quarterly Skype meeting with US headquarter to assess previous quarter goals and layout next quarter goals

US headquarter training and FO conference (after one year in the company)

• Travel to the US headquarter for additional training on Family Office concepts and best practices.

• Travel with Family Office clients for important Family Office related conferences and events overseas, serving as facilitator for all things related to the client’s office.

 

Est. Compensation

(Full Benefits in Korea)

Salary at W70mil-W90mil + Client Procurement incentives. Goal Salary is $150-200K annual (3-5 year, depends on client acquisition).
