Associate Vice President Partner & Co-Investor Relations
• Identify and develop relationships with institutions able to invest between $2mm and $25mm in our private real estate funds. This includes but is not limited to Endowments, Foundations, Small Pensions, Family and Multifamily Office, Large RIAs and High Net Worth investors. • Develop new business and strengthen relationships with existing TIM investors. • Building and maintaining the territory calendar, rotation and segmenting of partners Scheduling the territory Vice President with partners, co-investors, and field consultants. • Engage internally across the organization to partner with product specialists, portfolio oversight, marketing and investment resources of the firm to address the ever-changing needs of our clients • Provide follow up information as requested. Maintain contact with investors and keep them up to date on products. Offer information, ideas and other material required in raising capital. • Maintain territorial database and report on pipeline of opportunities. • Facilitate and support open communication between external sales resources and internal partner, which can include daily review of the business plan and follow up on opportunities, scheduling meetings, asset tours or due diligence requests and any other topics that impact the territory. • Participate in weekly meetings to review current projects and outline initiatives for the coming week. Follow through on moving opportunities through the sales funnel. • Read and report on assigned industry journals. Provide timely information and sales ideas from these journals to the marketing department. • Provide efficient and timely reports for sales activity and expense reimbursement. Non-essential Functions EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.) • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field • 3+ years’ experience in Investor Relations or Business Development with clientele similar to CIM’s • Series 7 & 63 Licenses required Communication Skill Requirements • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex agreements. • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as a team with a customer focus • Demonstrated exceptional customer service experience • Ability to write simple correspondence and/or reports • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Technical Skill Requirements • Competent with software products, including Microsoft Offices, Salesforce, and Concur • Strong knowledge of the Institutional industry & investment process • Operate standard office equipment
