Administrative Assistant (part-time)

Position Summary:
Position provides clerical and administrative support related to daily administration, communication, and correspondence.  Part-time (15-20 hours/week) position will be housed at Amway World Headquarters in Ada and will support the Administrator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Place phone calls to confirm current contact information; update electronic and/or paper records accordingly.
  • Provide assistance with maintaining accurate contact lists for corporate communication. 
  • Print labels and assemble cards and other correspondence for mailing.
  • Assist with and complete expense reports.
  • Complete flight travel logs for all corporate flights.
  • Serve as back-up for the Administrator, such as answering phones, emails; sending schedules, reviewing incoming mail, etc.
  • Assist with file archiving.
  • Carry out special projects and additional duties as directed.

Education and Experience:

  • At least five years of clerical or administrative support experience required; some college preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills. 
  • Good computer skills; proficient in use of the internet, Word, Lotus Notes and Excel. 
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Proven ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Resourceful in gathering information to effectively communicate.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/transport boxes of approximately thirty (30) pounds, stoop, and bend.
