Accounting Manager

Willow Street operates globally from its offices in Jackson, WY. We provide corporate trustee and private family trust company advisory and administration services to a select number of US and international families. The Accounting Manager is integral to Willow Street’s client services function. The incumbent is the primary interface with external client advisors and serves as a knowledge center for understanding financial statements and tax implications, internally. This role is highly collaborative and places extraordinary value on privacy and discretion.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate accounts for client checking account registers
  • Process client payments
  • Perform reconciliations for client checking, savings, and investment accounts
  • Create budgets and manage cash flows in collaboration with client services team
  • Provide documents and information to external accounting partners as needed
  • Ensure compliance with tax deadlines and reporting to local/state/federal agencies
  • Confirm financial statements are created for all entities in a timely manner
  • Work closely in the review and approval of client tax returns prior to submission
  • Collaborate in preparation for client and advisor meetings

Educational and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years+ in a senior bookkeeping or accounting role
  • Critical thinker, organized and highly attentive to
  • Proficiency in accounting software, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of web-based applications
