We have invested $2MM alongside the founders of the Company. We are looking to raise between $6-7MM of equity to finance the development of an anaerobic digester in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago-based Company will provide a sustainable, green alternative to landfilling food waste by capturing high-energy feedstock, primarily from food manufacturers and distributors, and diverting it to our anaerobic digester. Phase I is designed to capture nearly 75,000 tons of feedstock annually. At the project facility, the feedstock will be processed to create renewable energy and nutrient-rich soil, which will be used to expand local urban farms in underserved communities. We are in the final phase of planning and development with a timeframe of starting construction in 2019.
