FOX hosts a monthly meeting comprised of different thought leader specialists whose focus is in the areas of technology including software, data management, outsource services, advisors and consultants, and managed service providers. FOX membership is invited to learn and take a deep dive into our Tech Partner platforms, solutions, and services.

    John Stewart, Partner and Leader of Armanino’s Family Office Practice, Armanino

    John leads the Family Office industry at Armanino, where he specializes in providing tailored consulting and advisory services for family offices navigating the complexities of AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and strategic transformation.

    With a robust background in business, operations, and technology leadership across both Fortune 50 companies and entrepreneurial ventures, John is adept at fostering innovation and efficiency. His experience spans a diverse array of industries in addition to family office, including entertainment, technology, retail, non-profit, manufacturing, and financial services.

    Prior to his role at Armanino, John founded Arctos Ventures, a consultancy focused on business strategy and innovation. He has also held executive positions at OnPrem Solution Partners, 20th Century Fox, and NBCUniversal, and is dedicated to mentoring and advising technology startups, helping them align their strategies with the evolving landscape of AI and automation.

    Outside the office, John enjoys quality time with his two sons, embracing fatherhood through various activities. Originally from Philadelphia, he proudly supports his hometown sports teams with an unmatched passion.

    Lindy is a pivotal leader within Armanino’s cloud technology solutions and heads up the Armanino Sage Intacct Family Office Practice, where she specializes in delivering tailored consulting services for Family Offices seeking to leverage cloud-based financial solutions. Lindy is the leading expert in Family Office technology best practices and integrated solutions!

    With over 25 years of experience in public accounting and technology consulting, Lindy launched her career in the audit practice at Deloitte before establishing her own successful consulting firm. Her expertise in the Sage, Microsoft and Salesforce platforms has benefited hundreds of organizations, making her a trusted advisor in the Family Office sector.

    Since merging her company with Armanino in 2012, Lindy has played an essential role in positioning Armanino as a top Sage Intacct VAR partner. As the founder of the Cloud Accounting Institute, and Board Chair of Controllers Council, she remains at the forefront of the evolving cloud accounting technology landscape, particularly in how these innovations can enhance efficiency and agility for Family Offices.

    Lindy is not only a frequent speaker at industry events but also a prolific writer, providing valuable insights through blogs, whitepapers, and articles. Outside of her professional commitments, Lindy cherishes time spent with her family, participating in sports and outdoor activities, while striving to balance her career with her personal life and nurturing meaningful relationships.

    Carmel Wynkoop, Partner-in-Charge - AI, Analytics & Automation, Armanino

    Carmel has over 25 years of experience applying software solutions to achieve strategic business objectives, currently serving as the Partner in charge of AI, Automation, and Analytics. She leads a dedicated team in implementing a range of AI projects for diverse clients, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation. With a strong track record of guiding organizations through digital transformations, Carmel specializes in strategic AI deployment to create competitive advantages.

    Prior to her current role, she directed business-driven processes from conception to implementation, encompassing comprehensive product management, usability, and organizational development. Carmel's previous positions include Director of ERP & Control Systems at Guitar Center, and roles as CIO and VP of IT at Network Equipment Technologies. She holds an M.S. in organizational development with a focus on change management from the University of San Francisco, and a B.S. in health and community science from the University of Nevada, Reno.

    Mark Knight, Partner, Armanino

    Mark is a licensed CPA and partner in the firm's SOC practice and leads the firm's cybersecurity and privacy practices. Mark also holds CISA and CITP certifications with a broad knowledge of multifaceted IT systems, including hardware, software and networking equipment. His clients know him best for developing compliance solutions for complex software development processes. What he enjoys most about his work is helping new or startup companies navigate compliance requirements, such as SOX, FFIEC and SOC.

    Before joining Armanino, Mark was a partner at Holtzman Partners and had worked on an FDIC engagement with Deloitte’s IT audit and consulting group. Mark serves on the board of directors of the Austin Symphonic Band. He’s also quite the handyman. When he’s not working on a client engagement, or enjoying the outdoors, he can often be found working on home renovation projects.
