FOX recently held the first meeting of the new Wealth Advisor Council in New York City. The firms that joined us enjoyed an overview of FOX insights on building profitable, sustainable wealth advisory businesses and joined an energetic group of peers seeking the same thing. The spirited discussion validated the power of this peer network to help the member firms share experiences and chart the issues they wanted to pursue together.
 
For firms that were not able to attend the meeting in New York, we will offer an online briefing on the materials presented in the meeting. This will give you an idea of the benefits of participating in the Council.
 
Charlie Grace, FOX Managing Director, and Karen Rush, FOX Director of Membership, will review key challenges and trends in the wealth management industry, multi-family office service offerings and delivery, and pricing and profitability.

Charles B. Grace, III is Managing Director at FOX. Charlie works on strategic planning projects for families and family offices as well as wealth management advisor clients. He has more than 20 years experience in the family office community advising high-net-worth families and has been quoted in various publications on the subject of private wealth management, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Worth Magazine. In addition to his responsibilities at FOX, Charlie has been active on the Board of the single family office Ashbridge, LLC since 1992 and in 2010 was named President. He is a Trustee and member of the Investment Committee of the non-profit Tuttle Fund, Inc. in New York City.

Director of Membership, Family Office Exchange
 
Karen Rush is Director of Membership for Family Office Exchange (FOX). She is part of the advisor team that works to increase membership and provide member services. Formerly events manager, she was responsible for planning all external FOX events, including forums, workshops and regional events.
 
Prior to joining FOX in 2005, Ms. Rush spent 10 years at a large, multi-generational family office as the communications coordinator. She worked directly with the family office and family members to develop a family meeting process and younger generation education program.
 
Ms. Rush received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern Illinois University.
