Opportunity Zones are an economic development tool designed to stimulate economic development and job creation in distressed neighborhoods and communities that are starved for growth. The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Code section 1400Z-2 provides for preferential treatment of capital gains that are reinvested in qualified opportunity funds. In this session, Marla Miller will explain this new tax code section, outline the potential benefits of investing in opportunity funds, and share some examples of opportunity zone investments to provide clarity for all FOX members considering this strategy.

***Those that attend this webinar and complete the conditions of participation are eligible to receive 1 hour of CPE credit.
