Richard Haass and the Challenges Facing the Next Generation
FOX is pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Haass back as a keynote speaker for this year’s Fall Forum.
Dr. Haass is the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, a non-partisan organization promoting greater understanding of the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries. From 2001-2003, he served as the former director of policy planning for the U.S. State Department. He is also the author or editor of 12 books, 11 on American foreign policy, including War of Necessity, War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars.
Last year Dr. Haass provided our attendees with an illuminating look at the challenges and risks facing business and government in an interconnected world. It was a rich session covering everything from the Middle East in the aftermath of the Arab Spring to the evolving roles of the United States and China in world affairs.
This year he returns to discuss a matter of great personal importance to him: education reform and the need to prepare the next generation for life in the 21st century, including today’s more globalized world. We hope you can join us for what is certain to be an informative discussion on an issue of increasing importance in today’s economy.
