James Erben
James Erben began his career in the United States Air Force in 1986 serving in the Strategic Air Command Elite Guard. After receiving his honorable discharge, James began his law enforcement career with the College Station Police Department.
While in law enforcement, James created the Bike Patrol unit and served as a Training Officer. James left full-time law enforcement after ten years of service when offered a position as a Regional Security Manager at Charles Schwab. He continued serving the citizens as a part-time deputy sheriff/csontable for another 16 years. James would serve a tour in Iraq training the Iraqi Police at the Baghdad Police College. Upon his return he served as an Infrastructure Protection Planner for Ohio Homeland Security.
Before joining Event Risk, he served as Security Director of Corporate Security for Continuum Global Solutions, a divestiture from the Xerox Corporation. James serves as Event Risk’s Vice President of Operations ensuring that our clients receive our high caliber service. He is licensed in Executive Protection and Firearms Instruction. James also serves in the Tennesee State Guard where he is a 2nd Lieutenant serving as the Assistant Provost Marshal.
