David Lincoln

David spends the bulk of his time reading, writing, and speaking about all aspects of wealth management, and has developed deep issue expertise in matters relating to all aspects of single and multi-family office operations. David is frequently invited to participate in strategic planning sessions with member organizations as a commentator on industry trends, sounding board, and advisor to industry management teams.

Formerly practice manager for The VIP Forum of the  Corporate Executive Board, which serves as a best practices research advisor to 400 leading financial organizations in 42 countries, David brings to his role 13 years of research product development and delivery expertise.

While at the Corporate Executive Board, he not only founded the firm’s pension market research practice but also led the financial services group’s first complete benchmarking effort and client satisfaction survey work.
 
Previously, he held research-related positions at the Goldman Sachs Group in New York, where he completed the firm's first complete research analysis of private wealth management, and the Institute for International Economics, where he assisted institute fellows with research focusing on international trade and economic issues.
 
David has a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1995 and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School in New York In 2001.
