Covie is the Chief Wealth Advisory Officer of Ballentine Partners, LLC, a firm that specializes in providing investment and wealth management advice to wealthy families and entrepreneurs. Covie leads the firm’s wealth advising practice and several of the firm’s large family client engagements. She began her career at Goldman Sachs after graduating from Harvard University.  

 

In her recently published book, “Raised Healthy, Wealthy & Wise: Lessons from successful inheritors on how they got that way,” Covie summarizes what works–and what doesn’t–when raising children amid wealth. Interviewing inheritors that went on to lead productive, motivated, and independent lives, she summarizes the key messages and shares what can be learned from these success stories.

 

Covie has been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Women in Wealth Management” (Wealth Manager/AdvisorOne.com 2008-2011) and one of the “20 Rising Stars of Wealth Management” (Institutional Investor News 2008).
