First Foundation offers a single source to handle investments, insurance, taxes, estate planning, charitable donations and other financial needs. First Foundation's goal is to manage the human capital, intellectual capital, financial capital and social capital needs of our clients. First Foundation Advisors is a combination of the firm's wealth consulting services that includes estate planning,financial planning, philanthropic guidance, investment management and consulting for individuals and families. First Foundation Bank is a federally chartered bank offering trust management, depository accounts, commercial lending, insurance and other services. The bank's client base is mid-to-high net worth individuals, as well as family and non-family businesses and owners, with most loans offered for business lines of credit, multi-family property loans, jumbo residential, commercial investment and commercial owner-user real estate.

Answer

Each relationship manager (managing director or private banker) has a dedicated team to ensure you receive excellent service and guidance. Through your relationship manager and team, you have access to our breadth of specialists and resources.

Answer

Our ideal client has $5-250 million liquid assets and is seeking qualitative and quantitative advice on the management of their wealth. Typically we are dealing with individuals and multi-generational families.

Answer

In addition to providing outstanding financial services, we have internationally renown resources available to assist clients with family dynamics issues, family governance, philanthropic advisory services and family business transitions. We also offer specialized programs, such as Focus on Women, Financial Boot Camp, Trustee and Beneficiary Training, Individual Coaching and an Art Services Program.

What communication methods have you used with your clients?

Answer

We meet with our clients as often as they request, but at a minimum once a quarter and are in constant contact by phone and email. Consulting clients are serviced on a project basis with on going follow up.

What formal and informal client education programs does your company provide?

Answer

The company puts on 20-30 educational events a year in various regional markets. Customized programs can be provided to multi-generational families and family offices. We publish white papers periodically and produce a quarterly economic update and outlook.

Our professional team includes 6 Chartered Financial Analysts, 10 Certified Financial Planners®, 1 Certified Public Accountant, 1 Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, 1 Chartered Financial Consultant, 1 Chartered Life Underwriter, 1 Clinical Ph.D., and 3 J.D.s.
